Shoot Out unsurprisingly has opened as the favourite at $2.50 for Saturday’s Memsie Stakes at Caulfield Racecourse, the John Wallace trained stable star is coming off two very impressive wins this preparation in the Group 3 Bletchingly Stakes and Group 2 J.J Liston Stakes.
Best Odds on the 2010 Memsie Stakes
On the second line of betting is 5 time Group 1 winner Typhoon Tracy who will be looking to start her Spring Campaign by beating home some of the best horses in the country in the star field, Peter Moody has expressed she may not be at her best although with her record you wouldnt be surprised if she blitzed the field. She has opened at $3.10 and looks to share punters interest with Shoot Out.
Other horses in the market are 2009 Cox Plate winner So You Think at $7.50, dual Group 1 winner Whobegotyou at $8.50 and the 2010 Melbourne Cup early market favourite Faint Perfume at $11.
