Prince Of Sussex heads the market for Saturday's The Showdown
The Sportsbet.com.au market for the Showdown (1200m) at Caulfield this Saturday has it as a race between two with a couple of impressive last start winners looking the hardest to beat.
Prince Of Sussex was such an impressive winner last time out at Bendigo and just has to run a strong 1200m to go close to winning. He holds the favourite tag at $2.80, ahead of outstanding debut winner at Terang, Sartorial Splender, who is at $3.60 for an in form John Sadler stable.
The horse that appears value is Hightail at $17, who had no luck last time behind Super Seth. If he can get cover from the barrier, he could be a dangerous contender based on his early 2YO form.
