The big money has started to arrive for the Michael Moroney trained Brazilian Pulse with the with a bet of $100,000 arriving at Sportingbet Australia for the filly to win Thursday’s Oaks.
Sportingbet Australia CEO Michael Sullivan said Brazilian Pulse had shortened from $3.40 to $3.20 following the monster bet.
“It looks like punters were just waiting for this filly to get out to backable odds before swooping ,”said Sullivan.
“We had seen precious little for her with the bulk of the money coming for Sasa but it I think this will open the floodgates and she’ll run a heavily backed favourite.
“Her win in the Wakeful was tremendous and it is generally the best form reference for the Oaks so it was no surprise when the money did arrive.â€
Sasa remains second favourite for the Oaks at $5.50 ahead of Precious Lorraine at $7.50.
