The race for the Golden Slipper 2025 has become more unpredictable following last weekend’s events, with five horses now exempt from the ballot.
Boom colt Wodeton has secured a spot in the field but remains vulnerable to potential late entries from the Group III ATC Pago Pago Stakes and Magic Night Stakes, both scheduled for this Saturday.
Unbeaten New Zealand-trained Snitzel colt Return to Conquer will head to the spelling paddock, while Tentyris, the Todman Stakes winner from last Saturday, is out of the race due to a stress fracture.
Trainer Anthony Freedman confirmed Tentyris would also be heading for a spell after pulling up lame.
