Chautauqua headlines the 2016 Manikato Stakes Field

A final field of 11 horses will line-up in the race with multiple G1 winners Buffering and Chautauqua headlining the race.
Of the 11 horses there are 10 individual Group 1 winners with the only horse in the field not to win a G1 being Fell Swoop.

Last years winner and champion sprinter Chautauqua dominates the betting in the race with his odds at $2.10 before the final field and barrier draw was conducted but has landed himself a tricky draw getting barrier 1 which has seen him drift to $2.25.
Crowd favourite Buffering has drawn well in the way of barrier 2.
