1 My Jimmy (Bet Now: $3.00)…that win last Saturday was just out of this world. The sectionals he ran and the start he gave them to round them up and score was quite impressive. Off that, 1600m should be fine and is one of the hardest to beat if he can reproduce similar effort.

4 Sandfire Rose (Bet Now: $8.00) is flying for Rob Gulberti. She was an impressive winner at Kalgoorlie last start and despite the pattern being in her corner, she had enough merit in the win. Good racing style, she commands respect.

2 Ihtsaking (Bet Now: $26.00) is an Adam Durrant trained gelding that resumes. His last run was July 17 2024 over 1700m at Pinjarra when off speed and whacked late behind Cosmic Chaos. Long time off but has clearly had issues but the talent is there and the trial work has been encouraging.

5 Silent Diva (Bet Now: $3.00) is flying for Jason Pateman and commands respect. She gave her rivals a start and a beating to win three weeks ago over the mile at Belmont, producing a strong finale from off speed to score. Flying, holding her form very well, she’s top seed for me.

3 Arcadia Knight (Bet Now: $5.00) was a bit of a horror show at Belmont three weeks ago behind Silent Diva. He didn’t really get clear late til around 200m out and by then, it was race over. If he gets room to move, he can prove to be quite dangerous.

2 Oly’s Choice (Bet Now: $8.00) ran an improved race last time when second to Silent Diva. He landed in a decent spot in transit and was there to win, loomed but had to settle for second. He’s found positive form, he can go on with it.

I think 1 Hezangelic (Bet Now: $6.00) can resume a winner. Mitch Pateman trained gelding that last raced on June 18 at Northam when on speed and tried hard but just felt the pinch. Looks to have a trialled well, will press forward and take beating.

3 Let’s Talk (Bet Now: $6.50) is four weeks between runs since a win over 1000m at Belmont. She got the right run in transit and in a driving go, was just a fraction too good. Extra 100m should be fine, she is a clear threat.

2 Kraken Time (Bet Now: $3.00) is on the seven day back up after racing over 1200m here last Saturday. He got back to near last in the run but worked home with purpose. He can launch late. Just depends what sort of start he concedes.

3 Raw Umber (Bet Now: $12.00) has been given a mini freshen up since Aug 26 when an all the way winner at Belmont over this trip, leading throughout and winning well. Good test here against likely types but with a good racing style, he takes beating I say.

2 Roger (Bet Now: $2.90) is 2/2 to start his career. Latest win was three weeks ago at Belmont over 1400m, getting the right run in transit and finished best to score. Horse heading in the right direction, he commands respect here.

4 Rogue Ruler (Bet Now: $6.00) is still a maiden but does have talent. He ran third to Roger in the race mentioned above, working home strongly from off speed to just miss. If he can be within range, he’s dangerous.

6 Delzee (Bet Now: $5.50) is a Summer Dickson trained gelding that is three weeks between runs since a second at Belmont over this trip, trying hard from off speed when second to So Si God. Racing well and should be around the mark against these.

4 Strideaway (Bet Now: $5.00) is a key chance. She resumed over this trip at Belmont three weeks ago, sitting off speed and worked home with purpose in a pretty good effort and return behind So Si God. Fitter, she’ll need luck from the gate, but she’s dangerous.

10 Jelly Can Run (Bet Now: $31.00) was game in defeat three weeks back at Belmont behind Like Clockwork. He settled off speed and did have his chance but was far from disgraced. Not sure I could back to win but is a first four threat.

4 Swift Ruler (Bet Now: $1.90) is an interesting runner. He ran over 1400m three weeks ago at Belmont when off speed and chased with purpose in the straight when second to Roger. The rise to 1800m looks ideal and despite taking on the older horses, he is a clear top seed.

6 Wild Things (Bet Now: $8.00) commands respect for Dan Morton. She got a 12/10 from Fiore to win at Kalgoorlie a fortnight back, getting the sweet sit in behind and finished best to score. 1800m should be ideal, she is one of the hardest to beat.

1 Snazzler (Bet Now: $41.00) is three weeks between runs since racing over 2200m at Belmont when back in the run and did make up headway but was never really threatening behind Miss Veuve. Back in trip should be fine and is one for exotics at a price.

He’s had a long time off but I think 3 Bondi’s Future (Bet Now: $11.00) can run really well first up. Adam Durrant trained gelding that has an extended layoff and while he’s better suited over further, gee I think he’s trualled up super for his return and resuming at 1400m vs 1200m signals intent IMO.

7 Western Miss (Bet Now: $2.10) is a Michael Grantham trained mare that resumes. Her last run was July 25 at Belmont over 1400m when on speed and tried hard but just couldn’t quite see it through. Trialled well and is similar in that fresh at 1400m signals intent.

2 I’m Crafty (Bet Now: $7.50) steps up to 1400m after racing over 1200m last Saturday here. She got a fair way out of her ground but didn’t mind the way she finished her race off in defeat. If she can settle closer, I think she’s a knockout hope.

This looks an absolute belter of a race. Race in two, but am leaning the way of 5 Playin’it Sweet (Bet Now: $5.00). She resumes for Adam Durrant and has looked strong in trial work for her return. Better suited over further but has an inside gate and should be strong at the end.

6 Hot And High (Bet Now: $1.90) is a Dion Luciani trained mare that resumes. She was a real find when last in work, ending the campaign with a Belmont Guineas triumph. Maps to get a sweet sit in transit and will be effective at the end.

2 Essentric Nature (Bet Now: $17.00) is a Jason Pateman trained gelding that is first up. I dare say he has eyes on the Railway but is a very genuine horse and his trial work suggests he’s here to run very well, so watch betting.

3 King Of Light (Bet Now: $2.00) wouldn’t have looked out of place in the Golden Eagle and with that in mind, he’s a clear top seed here. He was an electric first up winner at Belmont and it was all roads to Sydney but injury meant those plans were shelved. He’s returned, and he’s here to make a statement.

1 Western Empire (Bet Now: $5.00) is an absolute beauty for Jason Pateman that resumes. He ended last prep on a high, winning two on the bounce, the latter being a dominant Strickland triumph. He will spot them a start I dare but has class and that will carry him a long way.

5 West Star (Bet Now: $23.00) was a total forgive in the Golden Saddle. He was wide throughout and the way the track was at Kalgoorlie (fence on fire), he was never a factor. Maps much better this time around, he’s a knockout hope.

12 Monte Tremezzo (Bet Now: $23.00) should love rising to 1200m after resuming over 1100m in the Rod Sayers at Kalgoorlie where the pattern was against but she worked home with purpose. Fitter and up in trip, more positive ride, she takes beating.

1 Horcrux (Bet Now: $15.00) is three weeks between runs since resuming over this trip at Belmont. He landed in front and tried hard but couldn’t quite hold off Like Clockwork. Drawn wide but should press forward and take running down.

8 Fast Harry (Bet Now: $21.00) is a Jason Pateman trained gelding that resumes. His last run was June 6 at Belmont when off speed and whacked late behind Awesome Boy. Likely will spot them a start but will be strong late and is a knockout hope.
