Glorious Goodwood 2026 continues on Wednesday night Australian time, headlined by the Group l Sussex Stakes (1609m).

3 Infraad (Bet Now: $3.10) for me. He ran over 2100m at Chester last time out where he was out the back and keen in the run but picked up and was strong late in defeat when second. 2400m should be ideal and has more upside than most.

1 Tierra Del Toro (Bet Now: $9.00) ran in the King George V at Royal Ascot when near the speed throughout and tried hard but tired late in the piece. Think with a more patient steer, he can run a much improved race in what is a winnable assignment.

4 Bay Royale (Bet Now: $8.50) comes here with fresh legs, his last run being on May 19 at Nottingham when off speed and was under pressure early but kept chasing and finding the line in defeat. 2400m, I think, is fine, and for mine is a knockout hope.

8 Wild Blossom (Bet Now: $2.25) looks the starting point. This filly spanked them on debut at Carlisle before going to the Queen Mary at Royal Ascot when near the speed and just felt the pinch late behind Victorious. This looks more her go and is the top seed for me.

5 Hidden Gift (Bet Now: $8.00) comes back to 1000m after racing over 1200m in the Albany at Royal Ascot when on speed, copped heat and tired late. Like her back in trip and this race, overall, doesn’t look overly deep.

3 Envision (Bet Now: $41.00) will welcome the drop in depth after racing in the Queen Mary at Royal Ascot, leading on her side and tried hard but tired late. This looks a race more within reach, so I wouldn’t be entirely dismissing her.

13 Planet Seeker (Bet Now: $7.00) steps up in grade after a win at Newmarket over this trip, sitting back off speed before being presented with clear air and she got better as the race went on. She’ll be strong late and hopefully won’t concede too much head start.

1 Flora Of Bermuda (Bet Now: $3.60) steps up to 1400m after a win over 1200m in the Summer Stakes at York, giving her rivals a start and a beating in an impressive effort. Think the rise to 1400m is fine and she is a very genuine type.

12 Orion’s Belt (Bet Now: $34.00) is a talented filly that resumes, her last run coming in a Group l in September when near the speed and tired to finish down the track behind True Love. If she’s ready to go, she’s certainly capable.

10 Crownbreaker (Bet Now: $4.50) for me. Thought there was a lot to like about her win at Deauville last time, winning by a length in comfortable style and ran decent time. Good test here but confident she can measure up.

1 Adonius (Bet Now: $6.00) beware the unbeaten horse. May 6 at Chester over this trip, leading throughout and gave nothing else a look in to win impressively. Good racing style, short course type, he should take running down against this lot.

9 Brazilian Diva (Bet Now: $27.00) is one for exotics. She ran over this trip at Naas last time out, tracking the speed and tried hard but just couldn’t quite get there. Not sure she is good enough to win but can run first four.

10 Gstaad (Bet Now: $4.40) looks the better price of the two big guns and is the way I am leaning. He ran second in the St James’s Palace where he tried his absolute guts out but couldn’t quite fend off Bow Echo in an epic battle. He lands on speed and will take running down.

8 Bow Echo (Bet Now: $2.05) is the key and I dare say only threat. He won the St James’s Palace, getting a beaut steer from Loughnane and surged hard late to finish best and score. He’s a star, he’ll be near the speed and giving his all.

12 Zavateri (Bet Now: $26.00) comes here with fresh legs, his run coming via the Greenham at Newbury on April 18, when midfield and closed well but did seemingly have his chance when second. Not sure he is good enough to win but is a must for exotics.

Each way for me via 19 Tex (Bet Now: $7.00). He comes back to 1200m after a win over 1400m at Ascot, giving his rivals a start and a beating in an impressive performance. He’ll be strong at the end of 1200m. Just a matter of what sort of start he concedes.

7 Supreme King (Bet Now: $7.50) steps up to 1200m after racing over 1100m at Chester when near the pace and was there to win when presented but just found one better in Top Juggler. The extra 100m is fine, good racing style, he commands respect.

14 Arduis Invicta (Bet Now: $23.00) is one for exotics. He ran over this trip at York last time when off speed and while he was never a winning threat, he kept chasing and was far from disgraced in defeat. Not sure he is good enough to win but can run first four.

3 Bobby Bennu (Bet Now: $6.50) is the straight bat play in the get out. He ran over this trip on the Synthetic at Newcastle when just off speed but trucked into the race and loomed but found one better. Genuine horse who lands near the front and will run an honest race.

11 Crimson Spirit (Bet Now: $6.00) is a proven track/distance performer that was game in defeat at Newmarket last start when on speed and fought hard late but just couldn’t quite see it through. Ryan Moore booked, he’ll be around the mark.

10 Superposition (Bet Now: $19.00) ran fourth over 1200m at Ascot last time out. He got back to near last in the run and made up decent headway without threatening. If he is within range, he’s got the finale to be dangerous.

NEXT BEST: Race Five Number 10 Gstaad

LONG SHOT: Race Six Number 19 Tex
