Mr Brightside has been the best backed runner in today's Doncaster Mile
Defending champ Mr Brightside heads the Ladbrokes.com.au market for the Doncaster Mile (1600m) this afternoon at Randwick.
The Team Hayes trained gelding won the race 12 months ago and comes here in better form after winning the All Star Mile two weeks ago. Opened $5 and touched $4.40 but has settled at $4.80.
Despite being a high price favourite, he dominates betting, with next best being Fangirl at $8.50, clear of overseas raider Protagonist at $9, a half point clear of quality filly Zougotcha. Nugget has been well tried at a price, into $21 from $41.
