Rising star Coolangatta has been installed as red-hot favourite in TAB’s opening market for the Magic Millions 2YO Classic in January.
The Ciaron Maher and David Eustace trained filly went up as the only horse in single figures at $2.50, with Get In The Spirit the nearest quoted at $15.
Tony Gollan’s Honey Pot, who makes her debut on the Sunshine Coast tomorrow, has tightened from $26 in to $18 and joins Brereton and Wild Calm on TAB’s third line of betting. Bets of note include a $2,000 outlay on Honey Pot winning first up and then again at the Magic Millions on the Gold Coast.
Artorius and Captivant opened as joint favourites for the Magic Millions 3YO Guineas at $6 ahead of Extreme Warrior at $8 and Bend The Knee and Jamaea at $11.
