The first qualifier for the Country Championships Final at Randwick on April 3 has been contested at Coffs Harbour with Baileys and Tara Jasmine locking in their spots.
Despite finishing second to Baileys, Tara Jasmine has shortened as favourite for the Country Championships final from $9 to $8 now that the three-year-old filly has gained her spot.
Tara Jasmine – trained in Grafton by John Shelton – opened $51 for the Country Championships Final on February 5 and has been well supported throughout the past week.
Baileys – trained in Coffs Harbour by Graham Payne – has tightened from $51 to $15 for the Country Championships Final after winning the qualifier at his home track.
