Alligator Blood is the odds on favourite for Saturday's Silver Eagle at Randwick
Punters are confident that Alligator Blood can bounce back given he’s been best supported in early betting for the Silver Eagle (1300m) this Saturday at Randwick.
The David Vandyke trained four year old was more than a pass mark fresh at Doomben and looks hard to beat in the rich Silver Eagle this weekend. Punters agree, backing him into $1.80 from $1.85 which was his new price with deductions after Criaderas came out.
Criaderas opened $4.50 and was into $4.20 before being scratched causing some big deductions in the race. Dawn Passage is rock solid at $5 ahead of the easing Subpoenaed, who is a $6 chance.
How Wowmantic is the only other runner punters are keen to back in early betting on the race she is into $13 from $23 with the deductions.
