You have multiple Group One winner Foreteller at $15 who may need this run, last start Expressway Stakes winner Weary at $6.00, Boban who has been disappointing of late at $10, then you have Lucia Valentina($6.50) and Silent Achiever($10) who ran huge races in the Caufield Cup and Cox Plate respectively. Despite all this class, Contributer and He’s Your Man have opened as dual favourites at $5.50.
Contributer has trialled well and won impressively two starts back winning against the tempo in the Coongy (Signoff was third) and is four from five first up. The ever consistent He’s Your Man was outstanding in his last two starts where he won the Epsom and was second to Happy Trails in the Mackinnon.
