Chris Waller will roll the dice with promising two-year-old Zoustar and give him a shot at Group company in Saturday’s BRC Sires’ Produce Stakes at Doomben.
The youngster was a dual acceptor in two states, with Waller paying up for the 1350m feature as well as a 1200m set weights and penalties race at Randwick on Saturday.

But he has decided to take the harder option and head north where Zoustar has drawn barrier 10 in the 16-horse field.
Waller said there was no hard and fast reason for his decision but cited the forecast heavy rain for Sydney as a factor.
“The rain in Sydney is going to make it a tough race,” he said.
“He was no good thing here and he’s going to be no good thing there but he’s a nice horse and he deserves his chance.”
Zoustar is by emerging sire Northern Meteor, who also produced an impressive winner at Canterbury on Wednesday in the Gai Waterhouse-trained Romantic Touch.
Jim Cassidy will partner Zoustar who has won his only two starts at Canterbury and Hawkesbury while Hugh Bowman is aboard stablemate and ex-New Zealand filly Vilanova.
A Listed winner in New Zealand, Vilanova made her debut for Waller with an encouraging second in the Group Two Champagne Classic (1200m) at Eagle Farm earlier this month.
