Steven Arnold will team up with Bart Cummings Queensland Oaks favourite “Dariana” in hope to take home the $265,000 race.Bart Cummings has enlisted S.Arnold to ride Dariana in Saturdays Queensland Oaks after Rodd pleaded guilty to careless riding on the Filly in the Doomben Roses.

M. Rodd, the rider of Dariana, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under AR. 137(a), in that upon straightening he permitted his mount to shift out, making heavy contact with Pinpoint Accuracy (B. Pengelly), resulting in that horse being severely hampered and becoming unbalanced. M. Rodd’s licence to ride in races was suspended for a period of 6 meetings, with the term of suspension to commence at midnight on Saturday, 29 May 2010, and expire at midnight on Wednesday, 9 June 2010.
Arnold will have to have a perfect ride to overcome barrier 19 but Cummings is quitely confident the filly has the ability to win from out wide as she would most likely be settling towards the tale of the field.
