Trainer Kevin Moses is yet to decide whether consistent sprinter Mr Unforgettable will back up at Rosehill on Saturday.

The gelding was beaten less than two lengths when fifth to Spirit Of Boom in the Magic Millions Cup (1400m) at the Gold Coast last weekend.

He arrived home at Randwick in great order but Moses wants to be sure he is spot-on before committing to a start in Saturday’s Blackwoods New Catalogue 2012 Handicap (1400m).

“I’ve got to get his blood done on Friday and if it’s fine I’ll run him,” Moses said.

“He travelled back well.

“He’s a good traveller. He does everything easily.”

A renowned wet track specialist, Mr Unforgettable showed his versatility with his solid performance in the Magic Millions Cup run on a firm track.

He drew barrier 11 of 13 in that race and Moses believed it cost him.

“He drew outside and went a bit too hard,” Moses said.

“If he’d had the chance to relax behind them he might have finished closer but I was happy with the run.”

While Mr Unforgettable is not a certain starter, two-year-olds Crusader King and Sinoque will both take their place in the $250,000 Inglis Classic (1200m).

The pair finished alongside one another at their only start with Sinoque seventh and Crusader King eighth in the race won by boom youngster Raceway at Warwick Farm on January 7.

Moses, who won the Inglis Classic (1200m) seven years ago with Paulini, said the prizemoney purse was too tempting not to roll the dice.

“They would have learned a lot from the other day,” Moses said of his Classic runners.

“They might not be up to it but the prizemoney is good and they’re fit and well.”
