Ten races will be run and won at Murray Bridge this Saturday. Weather is fine, track is good (4) and the rail is in the true position for the entire circuit.

Race 1. (12:43) Adelaide Galvanising Industries Supports Sa Racing (Bm76) 2000m
1 Cheval Savant (Bet Now:Β $SP.00) has class and I’ll bank on that getting him home here. He attempted to lead throughout at Ararat last time in the Willaura Cup and gave a strong kick from the front but just couldn’t quite see it through behind The Nephew. Looks the leader and with front end control, takes beating.
4 Imposing Suspect (Bet Now:Β $SP.00) is on the seven day back up for Sarah Rutten after racing last Saturday over 1950m at Morphettville Parks when off speed and kept finding the line with purpose in a good effort in defeat behind Red Roof. 2000m and the bigger track, he’s in the mix.
2 Fox Gem (Bet Now:Β $SP.00) steps up to 2000m after racing over 1800m two weeks back at Morphettville. He got back to near last in the run and while he was never a winning threat, he kept finding the line and was solid enough in defeat behind Hard Prince. Good record at Murray Bridge and he can bounce back.
Race 2. (13:18) Bgc Industrial Cleaning Supplies (Rs0ly) 1100m
I want to give 7 Eroica (Bet Now:Β $SP.00) another chance. She is too good of a mare to pen…yet. Her opening prep, she looked Stakes class. Spelled, had an interrupted start before resuming, where she had a poor post race recovery in a forgive before bumping into a nice horse, Oak Park Rebel. Freshened, in well after the claim, her best can win this.
2 Declared (Bet Now:Β $SP.00) comes through the Bakeel race from a fortnight back. He had the right run in transit and was there to threaten…but then got badly held up in behind and it ended up being a barrier trial for him in a total forgive. Good record here, he can bounce back.
3 Oakland Raider (Bet Now:Β $SP.00) is three weeks between runs since racing over 1000m at Morphettville Parks when on speed and was there to threaten but just felt the pinch late behind Fun Forever. Not sure he is a horse who I could back to win but can run top four.
Race 3. (13:53) Gifford Hill Estate Mdn Plate 1000m
1 Aramoso (Bet Now:Β $SP.00) is the straight bat play but not a whole lot of confidence. He has had a stack of chances to break the maiden tag but keeps finding one or two better, which was the case three weeks ago at Morphettville Parks when third behind Shady Thinker. Lands in a plum spot and strikes a thin maiden.
5 Secret Wonder (Bet Now:Β $SP.00) ran fourth in the Shady Thinker maiden mentioned above. He lobbed outside the speed and was there to put the race away but just whacked in the straight and felt the pinch when fourth. If he can get across without spending too many petrol tickets, he’s dangerous.
4 Murph (Bet Now:Β $SP.00) is a knockout hope for Paul Carey after resuming over this trip at Balaklava where he got a fair way out of his ground but did close off well enough in defeat. If he can settle closer, be within range, he’s dangerous at odds.
Race 4. (14:28) Sportsbet Same Race Multi Mdn Plate 1000m
8 Ad Astra (Bet Now:Β $SP.00) placed in the 2YO Magic Millions here last year and looks to have returned well to say she wins this. She resumed three weeks back at Morphettville Parks when wide no cover for the trip but surged and loomed, but bumped into an impressive debut winner, Shady Thinker. I think that form will stand up in time and this girl should be winning.
4 Embellisher (Bet Now:Β $SP.00) is a son of Crackerjack King for Andrew Gluyas that resumes. This guy placed on debut over 1200m at Balaklava in the Spring when off speed and kept chasing behind a nice horse, Dunreal. He’ll likely spot them a start but be strong late.
2 Streetcar Tennessee (Bet Now:Β $SP.00) is a son of Written By that is on debut for David Jolly. He has had a couple of trials to get ready for start one, being runner up each time and has seemingly moved well enough. I doubt he wins, but can run top four.
Race 5. (15:03) Magic Millions Sa 2Yo Classic 1100m
7 Tiz Worthy (Bet Now:Β $SP.00) comes through the Cinderella from two weeks back at Morphettville, won by Gin Spirit. She was wide with cover throughout and tried hard, but first up, condition just gave way late in the piece. Better for the run and had jumped out like a rocket prior.
1 Dampen (Bet Now:Β $SP.00) has found winning form, that winning feeling again, and he can go on with it. That win came two weeks ago at Morphettville where he didn’t beat up much but was impressive the way he was strong to the line in winning. Hard fit, racing well, he’s around the mark.
10 Frothy Macaw (Bet Now:Β $SP.00) is a Matty Seyers trained filly that ran second in a Balaklava trial in the Spring. She led and seemed to move well enough to my eye but had no answers late for the eventual winner. Spelled, has come back and a recent trial win at Murray Bridge was quite good. Good racing style it appears, well bred…I say watch the market.
Race 6. (15:38) Marshall And Brougham Constructions (Bm68) 1800m
4 Gawnski (Bet Now:Β $SP.00) has found winning form and he can go on with it. He was a strong winner two weeks ago over the mile at Morphettville, giving them a start and a beating, knuckling down with purpose late to win and win well. Hard to knock the way he’s racing.
3 Eureka’s Victory (Bet Now:Β $SP.00) comes back to town after a dominant win in the Kangaroo Island Cup last start, leading throughout and he gave nothing else a look in to win and win well. Good racing style, in form, he should be around the mark against these.
2 Lake’s Folly (Bet Now:Β $SP.00) is on the seven day back up for Michael Hickmott after racing last Saturday at Morphettville Parks when last throughout in an on pace domination and although he did make up some form of headway, he was never a threat. Getting towards peak fitness, 1800m, home track advantage, he can win.
Race 7. (16:22) Magic Millions Sa 3&4Yo Classic 1200m
I think you have to believe what you saw with 10 Shady Thinker (Bet Now:Β $SP.00). Debuted on the Parks track three weeks ago and the arrogance in the win, the way he dashed, put them away, had plenty up the sleeve…he trialled like that so it wasn’t a shock. He smashed the clock hence why he’s here and despite the gate, he’s the one to beat for me.
7 Dancing Storm (Bet Now:Β $SP.00) was a strong winner of the 2YO Magic Millions here last year and looks on track to do the double. He resumed over this trip two weeks ago at Morphettville when off speed and worked home strongly but bumped into impressive winner Bakeel. Good record here, fitter, he takes beating.
8 Mesrour (Bet Now:Β $SP.00) has returned well for Richards/Moyle and has to be respected. Runner up in both runs this time in, going to The Valley last time out when off speed and wasn’t 100% happy around the tight track but closed with purpose once balanced up. Bigger track and hard fit, he appeals.
Race 8. (17:02) Happy 75Th Phil Fitzsimmons (Bm76) 1400m
5 Bakeel (Bet Now:Β $SP.00) has to be given respect off the back of his first up win two weeks ago at Morphettville, giving them a start and a beating in an electric performance after racing in Singapore. He looks a beauty and fitter, good upside to come, he takes beating.
6 Texan Windstorm (Bet Now:Β $SP.00) is a beauty for John Macmillan that is three weeks between runs since a win at Morphettville Parks where he got the right run in transit off the speed before angling clear and knuckled down strongly late to score. Not the best of records at Murray Bridge but hard to knock the way he’s racing.
8 Pearl Adios (Bet Now:Β $SP.00) comes here with fresh legs, having not raced since Feb 1 on the Parks track over 1400m when off speed and kept chasing in a good effort in defeat behind Tahnee Treasure. The break between runs I don’t mind and he has a good record at Murray Bridge.
Race 9. (17:42) Thomas Farms Hcp (62) 1400m
3 Kushan Khanivale (Bet Now:Β $SP.00) has a good record at Murray Bridge and with his racing style, he’ll take beating. A little run of outs was ended at Penola last time when on speed throughout and credit to him, he was there to be beaten but he found under pressure to fend them off and score. Think he’ll run well against these.
2 The Golden Fist (Bet Now:Β $SP.00) is two weeks between runs since racing over 1500m at Morphettville when attempting to lead throughout and gave a decent enough sight from the front but just couldn’t quite see it through but was far from disgraced in defeat behind Sabaj. Back to this level, he appeals.
13 Exalted Kate (Bet Now:Β $SP.00) comes back up to metro company after a win during the Kangaroo Island Carnival, getting the sweet sit in behind the speed and finished best to score under Potter. Gets in well after the claim and despite the gate, is a knockout hope.
Race 10. (18:20) Spry Holdings Brenton Lewis Hcp (62) 1200m
9 Streetcar Apollo (Bet Now:Β $SP.00) comes to town off the back of a dominant win over 1200m at Balaklava, getting the beaut run in transit before angling clear and finished best to win impressively. Good record at Murray Bridge and now he’s found winning form, he can go on with it.
11 Global Turn (Bet Now:Β $SP.00) is several weeks between runs since racing over 1250m on the Parks track at Morphettville when back off the speed and kept finding the line in defeat behind Shisuta Bo. She has run well at the track/distance before and does race well on the fresh side, so she commands respect.
14 Cork Harbour (Bet Now:Β $SP.00) will land on speed and run a race at odds. He ran two weeks back at Morphettville when leading and giving a good sight but just couldn’t quite see it through behind Bakeel. He has a good racing style and will give a sight…one for exotics.
