Scone Race Two: Number Seven Glare
This son of Redoubte’s Choice from the Paul Messara stable looks a moral in the second race. Has had the two starts for two placings which included a first up second behind the handy Lifebelt on January 27. He’ll be much better for that run, drawn well, Christian Reith riding in fine form and the small field will aid his cause
Scone Race Six: Number Six Zabelka
Another horse from the Paul Messara camp that looks to have plenty of upside. Was in need of the run first up when finishing fifth behind Schlager then was sent to town and wasn’t disgraced behind Rivalled at Warwick Farm. Drops back to country grade here and although he rises to 57kg for this race, he looks the most likely out of these to go on and win more races very soon.
Wangaratta Race Five: Number Four Danz Boy
This bloke looks to have turned the corner this preparation. He was considered a bookies pal by always finishing in the minor placings. But that has changed this campaign with a couple of solid victories including last start when racing away to score a top win at Cranbourne. He rises in grade but the field he is up against aren’t in the same form he is in. Placed several times on wet tracks so that won’t be an issue. He looks the safe bet on the program.
