A ten event card has been set down for Randwick on Saturday. The weather forecast is for showers, the track is soft (6) and the rail is out eleven metres from the 1000m-Winning Post; Out eight metres for the remainder.

7 Nazwah (Bet Now:  $SP.00) could be an absolute rocket. Just not sure yet but all she can do is win and that is what she did on debut at Gosford, leading throughout and gave nothing else a look in to win quite impressively. Stable is flying with their juveniles, she takes beating.

1 Shaggy (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a talented juvenile for Allan Kehoe that resumes. He was an early find during the Slipper lead ups, highlighted by a dominant win in the Pierro Plate before a down the track effort in the Rivellino. Trialled well enough and if he brings his best, he takes beating.

5 Steek Knight (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks to have trialled well for the return so watch betting. He resumes for Team Archibald, having not raced since the Black Opal when far from disgraced behind King Of Pop. Off his trials, he’s in with a shout.

2 Kingston Charm (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is bursting to win and she gets a great chance here. She ran in the Midway two weeks ago here when off speed and chased with purpose in a pretty good effort in defeat behind Walking Flying, just missing out on the win. Hard fit, can settle closer, takes beating I say.

7 Agita (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has to be given another look for David Payne after the Midway two weeks back. On face value, he was plain, but he was first up and was back, came widest, and on a day where up/in was dynamite, he was never a factor. Better set up here, he’s an improver at odds.

5 High Dandy (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is one for exotics. He ran behind Walking Flying two weeks back here when near the speed and presented to win but just whacked in the run to the line. Not sure he is a horse I could back to win, but he is a first four threat.

3 So You Are (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should appreciate a rise to 1800m after resuming two weeks back in the Highway over the mile here. He got off speed and for mine, just looked in need of the run behind Pensativa. Better set up here, he’s best is good enough.

6 In Summer (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a key threat for Messara/Gavranich. She ran third in the Highway here a fortnight, just lacking change up speed when asked but she found and was pretty good late. Like her up in trip and third up from a spell, she should be hard fit.

7 Red Rags To Bulls (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is flying for Jeremy Gask and commands respect after her eye catching effort in the Highway here a fortnight back. She got a fair way out fof her ground and while she was never a winning threat, she worked home with real purpose late. If within range, she has the finale to score.

4 Stardeel (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks a horse who has an engine under the hood and should take beating here. He was a dominant maiden winner two back on the Kenso before going here two weeks ago when ridden more patiently and worked home strongly when second to King’s Secret. Hopefully with a more positive ride, I think he is the pony to bet on.

2 Diddle Dumpling (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has returned in super order and is one of the hardest to beat after an all the way win at Rosehill three weeks ago, getting front end control and she gave nothing else a look in to win and win well. Looks to lead again and hard to knock the way she’s returned.

5 Bartolf (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is an improving type for O’Shea/Charlton. He resumed over 1250m at Canterbury where he got a fair way out of his ground and while he was never a winning threat, he kept chasing and was good late. Knockout hope with his best.

4 Oh Diamond Lil (Bet Now:  $SP.00) was a strong track/distance winner from two weeks ago, leading throughout and credt to her, she was there to be beaten but she found under pressure to fend them off and get the job done. Good racing style and should take beating once again.

3 Green Shadows (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is sneaky flying for the Ryan/Alexiou camp. He ran fifth to Getafix a fortnight back here. He got off speed against the pattern and while he was never a winning threat, he kept chasing and was pretty good. Can settle closer, he’s dangerous.

8 Unlimited (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is an improver up in trip for Chris Waller. He resumed behind Getafix two weeks back where he just found them too sharp and was never really a factor. He does have a strong second up record and despite maybe needing another run and more ground, his best is good enough to take this out.

5 She’s Unusual (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should be fine sticking at 1800m after her arrogant win at Randwick a few weeks ago where she got front end control, led throughout and gave nothing else a look in to win impressively. Staying at 1800m is no issue IMO…the one to beat.

10 Bright Red (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is knocking on the door for Chris Waller and strikes a winnable race. She ran two weeks ago at this track/distance when getting the sweet sit in behind and presented to win when clear but just found one better in Aberlour. Racing well, knocking on the door, leading contender.

2 Nana’s Wish (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is in ripping form for Ciaron Maher and is one of the hardest to beat after winning two on the bounce, firstly at Canterbury before handling the bog track best to score at Warwick Farm. Good test here, but hard to knock the way she’s racing.

4 Sacred Rocks (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is three weeks between runs for Ciaron Maher since racing over 1400m at Rosehill. She got back in the run but tracked up and charged late but had to settle for a second to Brave One. Like her back to 1300m on the bigger track and hard fit, she appeals.

9 Drift Net (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a definite threat. She ran third to Sacred Rocks a few weeks back when near the speed throughout and was there to win. Just couldn’t quite see it through when third. 1300m at this level is the query but runs well with the right run in transit.

10 Crop Duster (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is sneaky flying for Jeremy Gask and is a first four chance at odds. He ran over 1400m on the Kenso last Wednesday when wide with cover before peeling wider and loomed but I reckon 1400m at this level just sees her out and tired late. Back to 1300m I like, she appeals for exotics.

7 The Black Cloud (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has been given a four week freshen up since a narrow second at Caulfield where she was hailed as the winner but was nabbed late by a handy mare, Sixteen Reasons. Back home, good racing style, she appeals as a key chance.

5 World Alliance (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is sneaky flying for Matty Smith. He ran over 1200m weeks back. He was back near last in the run and while he was never a winning threat, I loved the way he closed off late in the piece behind Cloudland. Fast run 1100m, he’ll launch late.

3 Semillion (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes back to 1100m after racing three weeks ago over 1200m at Rosehill. He got back to near last in the run and while he was never a winning threat, I didn’t mind the way he finished his race off in defeat behind Cloudland. He’ll get back but be strong late.

10 Rantan (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has the engine under the hood but doesn’t have the best of racing styles. She ran behind King’s Secret two weeks back wher she got back to near last in the run and while she was never a winning threat, she kept finding the line in defeat in a good performance. If he can jump clean and be within range, she’s good enough.

12 Regimental Colours (Bet Now:  $SP.00) lands on speed and runs well I say, as seen behind King’s Secret a fortnight back. She tried hard but just couldn’t quite see it through, feeling the pinch late in the piece when fourth. Good racing style and becomes dangerous if this track is playing up/in.

13 Break Free (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has done little wrong this time in and is one of the hardest to beat. She resumed over 1000m at the Sunny Coast and resumed with a bang before going to 1200m when near the speed and tried hard but couldn’t quite get there when a narrow second to Amuseantes. Has that 1200m run under the belt so back to 1100m, she takes beating.

Very keen on 5 Travolta (Bet Now:  $SP.00) in the get out. He ran over the mile here two weeks ago behind Oh Diamond Lil and was very good against the pattern, working home with real purpose after being dragged back from the wide gate. If he can settle closer, be within range, he can take this out.

6 Puntin (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a nice three year old for Bjorn Baker that is on the up. He ran over the mile here two weeks ago when ridden with a sit and kept chasing without threatening in a good effort in defeat behind Oh Diamond Lil. 1800m is fine, can settle on speed…hard to beat.

7 Pure Alpha (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is knocking on the door. He had every chance at Rosehill a few weeks back. He got into a lovely spot near the speed and presented to win but just couldn’t quite get there, beaten a lip by Misterkipchoge. Commands respect in a winnable race.
