Ten races will be run and won at Doomben this Saturday. The weather is fine, the track is good (4) and the rail is out two metres for the entire circuit.

4 I Am That Girl (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is an I Am Invincible filly for Tony Gollan that debuts off a couple of trials and seemed to move quite well I thought, the latest seeing her run second and moved nicely. In a good camp, keen to see how she goes.

3 Lady Of Five (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has the race day experience under the belt, and winning experience at that, having won on debut two weeks ago at Eagle Farm when leading throughout and had enough in hand to score. Has the right racing style and race experience, which holds her in really good stead.

8 Rememberall (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes here for her debut for Liam Birchley off the back of a trial placing at the Sunny Coast. Ran second, held, but didn’t move too bad to my eye. Ben Thompson booked is a good lead, she’s in the mix.

13 Synergy In Motion (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should prove hard to beat for Adam Campton. He was well backed three weeks ago over 1350m here when attempting to lead throughout and he gave a decent kick but just felt the pinch late behind Facundo. If he can get a better time of it on speed, he’ll take running down.

3 The Enchanter (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes to Saturday grade after a midweek win at this track/distance when on speed throughout and credit to him, he was there to be beaten but he found under pressure to fend them off and score. Good racing style, he commands respect.

7 Thundering Soul (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is capable for Kris Lees. He ran over 1300m at Newcastle a few weeks back when just off speed and just whacked in the run to the line. Back to 1200m I like and overall, this isn’t a deep contest.

3 Royal Mover (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is 2/2 to start his career and looks on track to go 3/3. Latest win was two weeks ago at Eagle Farm over 1000m when settling off speed before angling into clear air and finished best to score. 1200m should be fine and is one of the hardest to beat.

1 Ha’Penny Hatch (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes back to 1200m after attempting to lead throughout over 1400m at Eagle Farm a fortnight back and she gave a decent sight from the front but was nailed late Voodoo Lass. Has that hard 1400m run under the belt, which holds her in good stead for this.

7 Little Fella (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes straight to town for Mark Currie after a debut win at Dalby. Did he beat much? No, but he was impressive the way he put them away and ran decent time, so keen to see how he goes against these.

1 Imposant (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is bursting to win. Outclassed in her first two runs before racing at Doomben three weeks ago. I thought barrier one would be a blessing. It ended up being a curse, getting no chance to build the revs while Freeland had all the momentum. If she gets room to move and wind up, she will take a power of beating.

4 Freeland (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is humming for Team Munce. Big win at Doomben a fortnight back, giving them a start and a beating with a sustained run from the back to score. Hard to knock the way she’s racing, she can win again.

5 Heyoka (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is several weeks between runs since racing at this track/distance where she was on speed throughout and tried hard but just didn’t quite have the finale to finish the job behind the in form Freeland. Good racing style, she’ll be around the mark.

7 Free Carry (Bet Now:  $SP.00) to bounce back. He hasn’t been racing too bad in recent runs but has been plagued by big weights and on pressure heat. He tumbles to 52.5kg here, he should get front end control and I suspect Doomben will be playing to those up/in, where he’ll be.

4 Victory Win (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is three weeks between runs since a track/distance win where he gave them a start and a beating to win impressively. Good test here with the class/depth rise, but he looks to have returned well and commands respect.

3 Diablo Bolt (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a very interesting horse. He is first up, having not raced since the Ipswich Cup where I thought he was a good thing but he was a beaten horse 600m out and pulled up with respiratory issues. Given a good break, trial work has been encouraging, watch the market.

10 Mannerheim (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has found winning form and he can go on with it. That win came last Wednesday here when giving them a start and a beating. producing nice change up from off speed to score. His confidence is up, he can win again.

9 Ichiban (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran down the track behind stablemate Mannerheim last Wednesday here. He got a fair way back off speed and while he was never threatening, he wasn’t too bad in defeat. Prior efforts suggested a win was near so I am not penning him just yet.

14 Counter (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran fourth to Mannerheim last Wednesday here. He got off speed and kept finding the line but did seemingly have his chance I thought when fourth. He does have room for improvement, can settle closer…dangerous.

6 Colophon (Bet Now:  $SP.00) and clearly. Michael Freedman trained gelding that spanked them at the Gold Coast last time, leading throughout and he gave nothing else a look in, winning impressively. Looks the leader and this race has thinned right out after scratchings.

8 Shot Of Whiskey (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is knocking on the door. He has been runner up his past couple, the latest seeing him lead and gave a strong kick but just felt the pinch late. Good racing style and can use that to offset the wide gate.

7 Pareto (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes back to 1200m after racing over 1350m three weeks back here. He sat near the speed and tried hard but I just think 1350m at this level sees him out and he tired late. Like him back to 1200m and prior efforts were more than sound.

5 Anemacore (Bet Now:  $SP.00) on top. He is a nice horse that resumes and while he can be hit and miss at times, he does go well on the fresh side and does click with Michael Rodd, who is on for the return. Happy to be in his corner.

1 Warby (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is capable with his best. He ran behind Tavs two weeks ago where he got back to near last in the run and while he was never a winning threat, he did close off okay late behind the in form galloper. If within range, he has the finale to threaten.

7 Treporti (Bet Now:  $SP.00) will jump on the bunny and run really well, as seen two weeks back at Eagle Farm when attempting to lead throughout and gave a decent kick from the front but just couldn’t quite see it through, tiring late when fifth to Express Payment. If he gets front end control, he’s dangerous.

10 Chamierro (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is in a real purple patch for Team Munce and is one of the hardest to beat after three on the bounce, the latest being two weeks ago at Eagle Farm when leading throughout and giving his rivals zero look in to win impressively. Good test here but think he can measure up.

8 Exceed Speed (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a key threat for me. Total forgive from four weeks ago at Toowoomba when doing early work to land on speed but despite that, he loomed to win but just couldn’t quite see it through when third to Ludovisi. He’ll press forward and take beating.

18 Rock Hard Love (Bet Now:  $SP.00) steps up to 1600m after a first up placing over 1350m at Doomben when getting back to near last in the run but worked home with real purpose late behind Facundo. Fitter and up in trip, he appeals.

15 Our Magnus (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is four weeks between runs since a win on Toowoomba Cup Day, finishing best from off speed to win and win well. Staying at 1200m I find interesting but he gets in well after the claim and is very genuine.

13 Epic Proportions (Bet Now:  $SP.00) steps up to 1200m after racing over 1110m at Doomben when off speed and worked home okay but seemingly had his chance behind Navyonthehighway. Track/distance winner previously and overall, this isn’t a strong race.

7 Band Of Brothers (Bet Now:  $SP.00) steps up to 1200m after resuming over 1110m at Doomben a few weeks ago. He got a suck run in transit just behind the speed before angling clear and looked the winner when presented but was nabbed near the peg by Navyonthehighway. 1200m should be fine, he’s hard to beat.

NEXT BEST: Race Five Number 7 Free Carry

LONG SHOT: Race Ten Number 15 Our Magnus
