Townsville will conduct Queensland racing this Thursday with a strong program assembled, highlighted by the $20,000 Sky Racing Townsville Guineas (1630m) and the fact that both Glen Boss and Robert Thompson will make the trek north. The weather is fine, the track is good and the rail is in the true position for the entire circuit.
