3 Sunset Session (Bet Now: $3.80) should prove hard to beat for Team Gangemi after racing over this track/distance two weeks ago. He got a fair way out of his ground but liked the way he finished his race off in defeat behind Niccimota. If he can settle closer, he’ll take holding out big time.

5 Show On The Road (Bet Now: $15.00) is a Ryan Hill trained gelding that resumes. He hasn’t raced since May 21 at Pinjarra when on speed and tried hard when second to Flaming Ronda. Resumes without a trial but the stable can get them ready fresh.

7 Spanish Armada (Bet Now: $4.40) didn’t beat much last start at Northam but he was dominant over 1100m, settled near the speed and ran decent time. Good test here, but confident he can measure up.

8 Dawn Dancer (Bet Now: $4.80) is flying for Ryan Hill and happy to have him on top. He has won his past two, the latest on July 11 when an on speed track/distance winner. Tick over trial was pretty good, on speed racing style, he takes running down.

1 Niccimota (Bet Now: $2.80) looks to have returned well and is hard to beat after a track/distance first up win two weeks ago, sitting near the speed before being angled wider for clear air and let down with purpose to score. Hard to beat once again.

7 Go Go Grommet (Bet Now: $51.00) comes here with fresh legs, having not raced since July 4. He ran over 1200m here and just struggled to pick his feet up late on the testing track. Fresh legs, 1000m and firmer footing, he’s dangerous for sure.

2 With Discretion… (Bet Now: $2.20) I think you can make a case that he goes close to winning two weeks ago here. He got badly held up at the wrong stage and it ended up being an ugly watch behind Rommeo. If he gets room to move, he’ll take holding out.

4 Rommeo (Bet Now: $11.00) was an impressive winner a fortnight back here, sitting off speed before coming with a well timed run to get the job done nicely. His confidence is up, he can certainly go on with it against these.

8 Warralea Lass (Bet Now: $7.50) ran fourth to Rommeo two weeks back, attempting to lead throughout and gave a sight from the front but just tired late. Think with a more patient steer, she can run a much improved race.

3 Heaven Specified (Bet Now: $5.50) is the way I am leaning, just. Impressive win over 1400m here last time, giving them a start and a beating in an impressive effort. Maps to get a suck run and 1600m should be fine.

2 Cinque Steele (Bet Now: $1.60) was an impressive winner over 1400m two weeks ago here, giving them a start and a beating, with Pike saving ground nearer the inside and finished best to win and win well. Extra 200m looks no issue, she’s one of the top seeds.

1 Our Mate Archie (Bet Now: $26.00) comes back to the mile after racing over 2200m two weeks back here, sitting off speed but was never a factor when down the track. Firmer footing and back to the mile, he’s an improver at odds.

10 Gaintree (Bet Now: $1.75) should take a power of beating. Simon Miller trained filly that resumes, having not raced since Feb 28 when debuting at Ascot and was good late behind Aurum Belle. Looks to have trialled up super and think she’ll be too good for these.

3 Marcos (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes back to 1200m after racing over 1300m at Northam where he got off speed and kept chasing in a good effort in defeat when second to Flying Maradona. He’ll be strong at the end of 1200m and has versatility re racing style.

4 Burning Bridges (Bet Now: $23.00) steps up to 1200m after racing over 1000m here two weeks back, sitting on speed and tried hard but tired late in the piece. I think with a patient steer, he can run a much improved race.

Landed with 5 Asif (Bet Now: $2.90). Thought he was super when resuming two weeks ago here, sitting off speed and finished off his race strongly when second to Hey Pino. Fitter, firmer deck, he’ll be hard to hold out against these.

3 Lord Shiva (Bet Now: $2.80) is on the back up after a dominant track/distance win last Saturday, leading throughout and gave nothing else a look in to score. Good racing style, off a win, he does command respect.

2 Speed Dream (Bet Now: $71.00) is three weeks between runs since racing at this track/distance, sitting just off speed and tried hard but felt the pinch late. Firmer footing, peak fitness, he’s one for exotics at a price.

9 King Of Light (Bet Now: $1.55) is a star for Dan Morton and confident he can resume a winner. His last run came in the Northerly when producing an end of prep run behind Cosmic Crusader. Looks to have trialled up outstanding for his return and if he’s ready to go, he’s too good for these.

2 Snowdome (Bet Now: $3.40) ran second in the Belmont Newmarket a fortnight back, sitting near the speed and tried hard but had no answers late for Immortal Bliss. Good racing style, he should be around the mark.

5 Rokanori (Bet Now: $81.00) steps up to 1300m after racing two weeks back in the Belmont Newmarket where he found a testing track and just struggled late. Firmer deck, up in trip, he’s an improver at odds.

6 Refemme No Angel (Bet Now: $2.60) looks a relatively straight bat play. He ran third over 1400m here two weeks ago behind Cinque Steele, trying hard from off speed but just felt the pinch late and couldn’t quite sustain the run. Back in trip, he takes beating.

1 Common Touch (Bet Now: $6.00) was a month between runs when racing two weeks ago over 1200m here. He landed on speed and was there to win but the break between runs, wet ground, he tired late behind Hey Pino. Better for the run, he appeals.

5 Allentown (Bet Now: $11.00) steps up to 1300m after racing over 1200m here two weeks back, attempting to lead throughout and tried hard but on the testing ground, felt the pinch. More patient steer, I think 1300m is fine and he can threaten.
