6 Golden Opera (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks the one to beat in this 2YO contest. She is a Dan Morton trained filly that trialled over 1000m at Belmont, winning comfortably and ran decent enough time with something in hand. Not much depth here so happy to be in her corner.

1 Castle Road (Bet Now:  $SP.00) lands in front and will take running down after a debut win two weeks ago here, leading throughout and he gave nothing else a look in to win well. He’ll be around the mark and has raceday experience on his side.

2 True Fiction (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is dangerous. He debuted behind Castle Road two weeks back and I reckon he was going to be right in the finish but just got badly checked and held up. If the breaks go his way, he can certainly take this out.

Good maiden this with a host of chances but I am with 6 Gaspardo (Bet Now:  $SP.00) for Steve Wolfe, who has placed in all three career runs. Last two have come over 1100m at Albany, the latest seeing him run second to Stormy’s Shaw. He had the suck run in transit and presented to win but just couldn’t quite get the win. Maps ideally which I dare say offsets the 1400m query.

5 Tactics (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes here with fresh legs for Neville Parnham, having not raced since Nov over 1400m at Belmont. He got into a sweet sit just off the speed and tried hard but couldn’t quite finish the job when fourth to King Hit. Tricky gate, but he looks as if he’s been set for the race.

4 Safari Boy (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should appreciate a rise to 1400m after resuming over 1300m at Pinjarra where he got a fair way out of his ground but made up good headway and was a definite pass mark in defeat behind What’s The Point. Fitter and up in trip, he’s a definite winning chance.

1 Kisses From Kelly (Bet Now:  $SP.00) seems the straight bat play after a win over 2100m here two weeks ago where he got a peach from CJP and in a driving go, he finished best to score. He is a stayer heading in the right direction and is a proven weight carrier. Happy to be with him.

9 Alaskan (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran third to Kisses From Kelly a fortnight back. He was near the speed and trucking before being clicked up and when he dashed, he looked home, but just couldn’t quite see it through when third. I think with a touch more patience, he can take this out.

3 Henchard (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has to be given another look. He ran behind Kisses From Kelly two weeks back. He got in behind the speed but never really got clear air at any stage so be forgiving of the run I thought. If he gets clear air and the runs come for him, he will be a threat.

4 Janny (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes back to 1200m but she will be stronger than most at the end. She has won her past two over 1400m here, the latest being two weeks ago where she gave them a start and a beating in a sharp display. Speed on, she’ll get back but charge at them late.

1 Devine Belief… (Bet Now:  $SP.00) can she stretch her brilliance to 1200m? All the way winner over 1000m here last time, getting front end control and found under pressure to fend them off and win. Good test here at 1200m but she is a genuine mare who shouldn’t be far away.

8 Miss Vasari (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran second to Janny two weeks back. She got into a decent spot off the speed and presented to win but just found Janny too strong late in the piece. Back in trip is fine, she commands respect.

4 Gold Maker (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has done little wrong in two runs this time in and should take beating. He ran two weeks ago here when off speed and kept chasing in a pretty good effort behind a smart one, Nonesospicy. That form reads well and strikes a winnable race.

3 Show The Way (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes through the Nonesospicy face from a fortnight back. He got back in the run and was held up for a fair chunk of the straight when having something to offer so forgive and forget. Fitter and up in trip, he’s dangerous.

8 Saturday Sesh (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a son of Sessions for Ash Maley that resumes. He is first up after a three run Winter prep where he found wet tracks each time and was far from disgraced. He’s trialled well to my eye…can he win? I say no, but a first four threat.

1 Numerian (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has class and I’ll bank on that getting him home. He resumed two weeks ago in the Northerly where he was wide no cover throughout but despite the hard run he kept on and was quite good in defeat. Better run in transit here, he takes beating.

8 Socks Nation (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is flying for Ciaron Maher. She was ridden with a sit in the Northerly and against the race shape, she closed off with purpose. Think with a more positive ride, up in trip, she is a leading contender.

7 In Good Order (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a knockout hope. He was very good in defeat in the Towton. Race shape was completely against him but he kept on and was good in defeat. Hard fit, will stay all day, a winning chance for sure against these.

3 Ginger Green (Bet Now:  $SP.00) will love the drop in grade/depth after racing in a much harder race two weeks ago. He tried his guts out but just lacked the class to go with them late behind Russian To The Bar. That form clearly reads well for this so for mine, he is the one to beat.

4 Lord Gannicus (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is on the seven day back up after a win over 1500m here last Saturday. He did early work from the wide gate bu the patient hands of Billy Egan came to the fore and the horse drove hard late to score. He’s found winning form, he can go on with it.

1 Falcon Trader (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is dangerous if he gets front end control. He did find the top last Saturday at this track/distance and nearly pinched it from the front but he just couldn’t quite see it through when tiring late behind The Boss Lady. No horse of that quality here, he appeals.

2 Citino (Bet Now:  $SP.00) will get better over further later on in the prep but I think he’s dangerous here. He resumed three weeks ago over 1400m when wide with cover and looked to be doing well before angling wider and I just think condition gave out. Fitter and up in trip, kind map, he’s a definite improver.

6 Pro Latte (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is racing like 1600m will suit. She comes through the Grandstand Cup at Pinjarra where she got a fair way out of her ground and although she was never a threat, she did make up headway in a decent effort. If she is within range, she has the finale to win.

1 Outspoken Lad (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes back to the mile from 1800m three weeks back when attempting to lead throughout and he gave a very solid kick from the front but just felt the pinch late behind impressive winner Royal Toronado. Back in trip, he’ll land near the front and give a sight.

17 Hostile Talk (Bet Now:  $SP.00) gets the nod for me in what looks an open contest. He resumes for Team Williams, having not raced since Aug 10 at Belmont when placing over 1200m behind Russian Sniper, who looks a borderline Stakes class animal. That form should read well for this and his recent trial win was quite good.

2 Snow Prince (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should appreciate a rise to 1200m after racing last Saturday over 1000m here. He got off speed and kept chasing in a pretty good effort behind short course specialist Bopping Blue. Up to 1200m is ideal and commands respect I say.

1 Street Parade (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is capable with his best. He resumed over 1000m here two weeos back when getting the suck run in transit and presented to do something but was very plain late behind Devine Belief. Fitter and up in trip, his best is good enough to be dangerous.

BEST BET: Race Six Number 1 Numerian

NEXT BEST: Race Four Number 4 Janny

LONG SHOT: Race Seven Number 3 Ginger Green
