A bumper ten event program will be conducted at Caulfield on Saturday, headlined by both the Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes (1400m) and Underwood Stakes (1800m). The weather is fine, the track is soft (5) and the rail is out six metres for the entire circuit.

5 Prince Eric (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks to have returned well and is one of the leading contenders after his return behind The Creator a few weeks back at The Valley. He got back off the pace and was never really threatening against the pattern but didn’t mind his finale. On a more fair track, he can take this out.

3 Farhh Flung (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has found winning form and he can go on with it for Danny O’Brien. He surged to win two weeks ago at The Valley where he got off speed before angling clear and finished best to score. Winning confidence is up, he can win again.

8 Presser (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is dangerous with his best. He ran two weeks back at The Valley behind Farhh Flung. He got a fair way off speed and while he was never threatening, he kept chasing and was pretty good late in the piece. If within range, he has the finale to be dangerous.

8 Flying Fizz (Bet Now:  $SP.00) each way for me. Matty Williams trained mare that resumed at the midweeks at Sandown where the market said she’d need the run and that is how it panned out behind Eagle Express. Fitter, up in trip, kind map, she’ll run very well at odds.

2 Flyer (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is dangerous with her best. She ran over 1200m at The Valley two weeks back where she just found them a bit sharp around the tight track but she kept on and was far from disgraced in defeat. Hard fit now and off the resumption, she can threaten.

4 Subliminal (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is thre weeks between runs for Corstens/Larkin since attempting to lead throughout at this track/distance and she tried hard but had no answers late for On Display. Tick over jumpout last week was sharp and I think with a sit, she’ll be more effective.

7 Stretan Angel (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has class on her side and that is going to take her a long way. She resumed in the Cockram where she lobbed outside the speed and was there to win but she didn’t finish her race off behind Magic Time. Back to this sort of level, fitter, more patient steer, she takes beating.

1 See You In Heaven (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran third to Tropicus in The Heath 1100m three weeks ago here when resuming. She got a fair way out of her ground but worked home with real purpose late when third. Looks really well suited here against these and confident she gets the job done.

5 Extratwo (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should be better for the first up run, which came a few weeks ago at The Valley. She just found them a bit sharp first up but she kept on and was solid late in the piece behind Red Hot Nicc. Like her with that run under the belt, can settle closer and be effective late.

1 Nadal (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a class animal for Ciaron Maher that resumes. He hasn’t raced since The Supernova on Pakenham Cup Day where not much went right for him when midfield behind Here To Shock. Trialled up super and will launch late, especially given he’s looking like he’s being trained as a sprinter.

4 Oak Hill (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes through the Moir from two weeks back. He was back near last, ridden for luck, and like several in the race, he didn’t get the luck and pretty much went around like it was a barrier trial. Like him up to 1100m on the bigger track, not penning him.

8 Klabel (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a son of Vadamos that resumes for Team Jolly. He is first up, having not raced since April 5 over 1400m in the Victoria Handicap at Caulfield where he was held but far from disgraced in defeat behind Nicolini Vito. Given a good break and his trial work to get ready has been strong. Hard to beat fresh.

6 Planet Red (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes through the McKenzie from two weeks ago at The Valley. Not sure he was entirely happy around the tight track but once he balanced up in the straight, he did make up ground and was pretty good late. Bigger track, hard fit, 1400m, he appeals.

5 Stay Cosmic (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran second in the McKenzie from a fortnight back. He got back to near last but saved ground nearer the inside and chased strongly in the straight but had no answers late for Rosberg. Fitter and up in trip, he only runs well.

4 Bingi (Bet Now:  $SP.00) was unwanted in betting when winning a few weeks ago at The Valley. Lucky to win? I say yes, but credit to him, he was on speed, out of trouble and was able to fend them off and win. Not sure he wins again, but with his racing style, he should be around the mark.

4 Spicy Lu (Bet Now:  $SP.00) each way for me. Nick Olive trained filly that resumed two weeks ago in the Furious at Randwick where she got back on a day where up/in was ideal and she was never a factor. I think fitter and up in trip, more positive, runs on the board, she’ll run a beauty.

5 Cherish Me (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has found winning form and she can go on with it for Ciaron Maher. She had the Blinkers put on a few weeks back at The Valley, giving them a start and a beating and finishing best to score. Jury was out on her return but after last start, she has to be given respect.

3 Zany Girl (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes through the Atlantic Jewel from two weeks back at The Valley. She got back in the run and did make up ground but was never really threatening. If she can get luck from the gate, her best is good enough to be a knockout hope.

2 Buckaroo (Bet Now:  $SP.00) picks himself IMO. Resumed three weeks ago in the Memsie and was one of the runs of the meeting given he was first up and over an unsuitable trip. He bolted up in this race last year and with all the upside in the world, proven performer, he’ll take a power of beating.

9 Sir Delius (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should take a power of beating for GaiBott after resuming in the Chelmsford where he kept chasing from off speed but kept finding the line and got very close to knocking off Lindermann. Fitter and up to 1800m, he’s one of the leading contenders.

11 Zardozi (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should appreciate a rise in trip for Ciaron Maher after resuming two weeks back in the So You Think. She wasn’t suited at all racing at The Valley but she kept finding the line and was really good late in the piece. Better set up here, not dismissing her.

9 Angel Capital (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks to have returned in beast mode and is one of the hardest to beat after a barnstorming return two weeks ago in the Chautauqua where he gave them a start and a beating, producing a brilliant finale to win and win well. Fitter, 1400m, big track, well weighted…gee he’ll take holding out.

15 Miss Roumbini (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has to be given respect for Price/Kent. She was massive first up in the Cockram when three/four wide no cover for the trip and she was entitled to knock right up but she kept on and it took a star mare in Magic Time to nail her. If that hasn’t busted her, gee she appeals against these.

10 Damask Rose (Bet Now:  $SP.00) was the real eye catcher from the Cockram three weeks back. She was pretty much there for a barrier trial but loved the way she closed her race off behind Magic Time. Fitter and up in trip, good weight relief, she can take this out without surprising.

17 Half Yours (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is running here and all things being equal, he wins. He was excellent off a freshen up at Rosehill a few weeks ago, finding the line well over an unsuitable trip. Fitter, 2000m, maps to do no work…I think he’s the one. But, is on the short side currently.

4 River Of Stars (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should appreciate a rise to 2000m after resuming in the Heatherlie three weeks back over 1700m where she was one of the first off the bit but she kept on and was far from disgraced in defeat behind Too Darn Discreet. Fitter and up in trip, she only runs well.

11 Interpretation (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should be better for the first up run after resuming a few weeks ago over 2000m at Caulfield where he just found them a bit sharp but he stayed on and was a pass mark in defeat behind Revelare. Thought he had trialled up really well leading in and fitter, he can run a much improved race.

9 Lincoln Rocks (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is hard to beat I say for Team Archibald. He ran over this trip two weeks ago at The Valley when doing early work from the tricky gate and he tried hard but just couldn’t quite get there when a narrow third to Rise To It. Hard to knock the way he’s going and is one of the leading contenders.

8 Gilded Water (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should appreciate a rise to 2000m after resuming over 1800m here three weeks ago. He landed on speed and tried his guts out but first up, bigger fish to fry, condition just gave way late in the piece when a close up third to Unlimited. Fitter and up in trip, he takes beating.

3 Whisky On The Hill (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes through the Heatherlie from three weeks back. He looked to be trucking into the race as some sort of threat but he just died on the run behind Too Darn Discreet. Fitter and back a faif way in grade/depth, he appeals.

BEST BET: Race Four Number 1 Nadal

NEXT BEST: Race Seven Number 2 Buckaroo

LONG SHOT: Race Six Number 4 Spicy Lu
