6 Harsh (Bet Now:  $SP.00) might have appreciated the bog track two weeks ago on the Parks track but even allowing for that, she was quite dominant and impressive in the run to the line. Her confidence is up, she can go on with it.

4 Jaykayann (Bet Now:  $SP.00) steps up to 2500m after racing over 2400m during the Swan Hill Carnival. She seemingly had her chance but just whacked in the run to the line behind Lightening Mann. Blinkers back on, she’s a sharp improver.

9 Fiora Blue (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran third to Harsh two weeks back. She attempted to lead throughout and tried hard but just couldn’t quite see it through and felt the pinch late. Good racing style, she’ll be around the mark.

5 Power Dancer (Bet Now:  $SP.00) commands respect after a first up second on the Parks track two weeks ago over 1250m, sitting on speed and was hailed as the winner, only to be nabbed late. He has that strong 1250m run under the belt, which should hold him in good stead for this.

7 Street Legal (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is bursting to win his maiden and I think he gets a great chance here. He ran three weeks ago at this track/distance, sitting on speed and was hailed as the winner, only to be nabbed late by Loseyatoeoe. Better for the run, lands near the front and takes beating.

17 Torpedoes (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is five weeks between runs for Michael Hickmott since racing over 1400m on the Parks track, landing off speed, sat wide and tired to finish down the track. Tick over trial was pretty good, I’d watch betting and see what it does.

10 From The Block (Bet Now:  $SP.00), on paper, looks a straight bat play, but I don’t have much interest here. He attempted to lead throughout two weeks ago on the Parks track and gave a good kick but had no answers late for Lingani. Down in the weights, he’ll be around the mark.

6 Metrical (Bet Now:  $SP.00) was the eye catcher behind Lingani in the race mentioned above. He got back to near last in the run and was good late when a close up fourth. He’ll spot them a start but look to launch at the end.

1 Komachi (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran two weeks back at Morphettville Parks. He found the track too wet, found his rivals too sharp and was never really a factor. Trialled well on Monday, firmer deck, I think he’s an improver at odds.

6 Orlova (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks the most obvious. Three weeks between runs since a second over this track/distance, trying hard from off speed when second to Royal Sway. Better for the run and down in the weights, she takes beating with good upside to come.

3 Darci Lane (Bet Now:  $SP.00) steps up to the mile after a debut win over 1350m at Strathalbyn, finding plenty under pressure to fend them off and get the job done. Good upside, good racing style, he’s dangerous against these.

9 Sassy Sophie (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran fourth to Royal Sway three weeks back. She got off speed and seemingly had a decent drag into the race but just couldn’t quite get there. Racing well, she should be around the mark.

12 Queen Christine (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes back to 1100m after racing over 1200m during the Swan Hill Carnival when on speed and gave a decent sight but just felt the pinch late in the piece. Like her back to 1100m and this race is on the thin side.

3 Kalasec (Bet Now:  $SP.00) steps up to 1100m after resuming over 1000m two weeks ago on the Parks track. He got a mile out of his ground but really liked the way he finished his race off in defeat behind So Polite. Can settle much closer in the run and be effective late.

1 Moonraker (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is third up from a spell and should be at peak fitness. He ran over 1000m at the midweeks at Caulfield Heath last time when off speed and kept chasing in a pretty good effort in defeat. He’ll spot them a start but be strong late.

6 Wind Rush (Bet Now:  $SP.00) steps up to 1500m after racing three weeks ago over 1200m here. He just found them a bit sharp but kept chasing and was pretty good in defeat. The rise in trip is ideal and with a more positive ride, he’ll only run well.

1 Hard Leaf (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is flying for Stephen Theodore. He has won two on the bounce, the latest at Mount Gambier when winning by a space and ran decent time in the process. Flying and is one of the leading contenders.

2 Holmes (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should be better for the first up run, which came over 1200m at Ballarat. He got back in the run and was held up at times behind Barari, a subsequent city winner, so the form reads well and rising to 1500m, he is in with a shout.

11 Peta’s Heart (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is hit and miss but with her best, I think she’ll take beating here. She ran over 2400m two weeks ago on the Parks track and the trip, combined with the bog track, she was never a factor. Tick over trial was pretty good, back in trip, she’ll do me.

7 King Of Wessex (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes back to 1800m after racing five weeks back over 1950m on the Parks track. He landed in a decent spot in transit and was there to threaten I thought but just died on the run when fourth. Back in trip, fresh legs, he’s dangerous.

5 Justa Star (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran over the mile here three weeks back. He got into a decent spot off speed and tried hard but on a shifty track, he couldn’t quite pick his feet up late in the piece. Like him up in trip and on a firmer deck, he’s dangerous at odds.

8 Mesrour (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks to have returned well and should take beating off the back of a first up placing at Murray Bridge over 900m. He got a fair way out of his ground but really liked the way he closed his race off in defeat behind Real Deluxe when third. Off that effort, he takes beating.

7 Hooked On Wealth (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is knocking on the door. He comes back to 1050m after racing over 1200m six weeks ago, getting back off speed and worked home strongly behind I Am Velvet. Likely will spot them a start but will motor late.

1 Howl (Bet Now:  $SP.00) doesn’t have the best of racing patterns but will charge at the end. He ran two weeks back on the Parks track where he got back to near last in the run but worked home with real purpose late when second. If within range, he can blouse them.

9 Major Rumble (Bet Now:  $SP.00) steps up to 1200m after resuming over 1100m four weeks ago at Murray Bridge. He got back to near last in the run but worked home strongly when second to My Zephyr. Fitter, 1200m, can settle closer, he’ll take holding out.

3 Sir Leapalot (Bet Now:  $SP.00) was a big winner when resuming three weeks ago over 1100m here, sitting back near last but produced a brilliant finale to score. Looks to have returned super and it’s all upside with him.

7 Attain (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes back to 1200m after racing two weeks back over 1400m on the Parks track. He seemed to have his chance but I don’t think he was 100% happy on the bog surface. Firmer deck here, he’s an improver and can bounce back.
