3 Shiki (Bet Now:  $SP.00) can put her well and truly up for the Magic Millions here. She was a sharp debut winner of the Gimcrack, seemingly looking more impressive than the boys in the Breeders, which is usually a good sign. Given a break and her trial work to get ready has been electric. Think bad luck is the only thing that can stop her.

2 Warwoven (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks the pick of the first starters. Bjorn Baker trained colt that won a Warwick Farm trial last week, moving well from on speed and got better as the trial went on. Looks to have early toe and enough of it to overcome the wide gate. He’ll run well.

4 Hardranger (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a Pinatubo filly for Michael Freedman that debuts. She trialled a couple of weeks back at Canterbury when running third and seemingly went about her business pretty well I thought. Maps to stalk the speed, watch the market.

11 Callistemon (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is third up from a spell and she should be ready re peak fitness. Looked in need of the run first up at Kembla before going to Rosehill when run off her legs it seemed and was never really likely behind Missile Seeker. Has a good record at Randwick and hard fit now, her best is good enough to beat these, so she gets one last chance.

3 Kingston Charm (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is knocking on the door to win…will the difference be the addition of Nash on top? She ran second to Miss Hades at Warwick Farm last start when off speed and surged hard in the straight but just couldn’t quite get there. Has to be respected.

10 The Mona Lisa (Bet Now:  $SP.00) was specked at odds when racing two weeks back at Rosehill. She had a decent enough run in transit and did try hard but just couldn’t quite finish the job when third to Mortal Halo. 1600m should be fine for her and can settle forward.

1 Santatime (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is racing really well at the moment for Glen Milligan and is one of the key threats. Strong winner two back at Gosford before going to the Highway at Rosehill where he was hailed as the winner when he burst through but had to settle for a second to Mount Bona. Has to be given respect given how well he’s racing.

5 Off The Scale (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is capable with her best. Lou Mary trained mare that looked in need of the run fresh in the Highway on Hunter Day at Newcastle before going to Gosford where she didn’t seem to handle the tight track and was never a threat. Had trialled very well prior to the return so I say she deserves another chance.

4 Sacred Mistress (Bet Now:  $SP.00) was unwanted in betting when racing two weeks back in the Highway at Rosehill. She got into a lovely spot just off speed and presented to be a threat when asked but just lacked the change up speed when fourth. Like her up in trip, good upside to come, dangerous.

3 Plaintiff (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a good filly for Peter Snowden and confident she runs well once again. 2/2 to start her career, both wins coming at Rosehill where each time she has had to knuckle down to win the race and indeed she has. A filly clearly heading places, she’s hard to beat.

6 Lancelot Du Lac (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks a smart colt for GaiBott that was a sharp debut winner on the Kenso, sitting on speed and was trucking before being clicked up by Hippo and away he went to win and win well. Confident he measures up here.

4 Sanctified (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has been hit and miss in his ten start career but has been pretty solid this time in. He ran a close up third to Plaintiff at Rosehill when near the speed and was there to win but just couldn’t quite see it through. But, he was far from disgraced in defeat and that form reads well for this.

2 Covert Thinking (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a key chance for Ciaron Maher. Market hated her when resuming a few weeks back at Rosehill but after getting a decent sit off speed, she kept chasing in a definite pass mark behind Hyperbolic. Fitter and up to the mile, she only runs well.

10 Willie Oppa (Bet Now:  $SP.00) commands respect for Chris Waller. He ran over 1500m at Rosehill last time when off speed and didn’t really quicken when asked for the effort but he stayed on and was far from disgraced in defeat when fourth. Hard fit, 1600m, he’s dangerous.

3 Fiftyfivechevy (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is hit and miss but is certainly good enough to take this out. He ran over this track/distance last Saturday when on speed and tried hard but just lacked change up speed, though he stayed on and was far from disgraced. Hard fit, on speed, he’ll run well.

3 King Pedro (Bet Now:  $SP.00) commands respect for O’Shea/Charlton. He beat up camels to win two back at Gosford before going to Rosehill when coming back in trip, got back in the run but worked home strongly when second to Kind Words. Up to 2400m, he appeals.

2 Brave Call (Bet Now:  $SP.00) steps up to 2400m after a win a few weeks ago over 2000m at Kembla, finishing best in awful conditions in what turned out to be a slog to the line. Tick over trial last week at Gosford was quite good, he’s in the mix.

10 Wittelsbach (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is progressive and heading in the right direction for Team Archibald after two wins on the bounce, firstly at Tamworth before repeating the dose in style last week at Wyong. Good test here but think she can measure up.

5 Storm The Ramparts (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a handy sprinter for Joe Pride that resumes. He was a real find during the Winter and did seem to love racing here at the short course. Looked to be jogging in his latest trial, he goes well fresh…I think he’ll run very well.

11 Dollar Magic (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a beauty for Scott Singleton. She tried her guts out when resuming at Rosehill a fortnight back. She surged late from just off speed but couldn’t quite get there when third to Hawker Hall. She’ll be strong late and hopefully the tempo is more genuine.

7 Appin Girl (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should be better for the first run for Joe Pride, which came two weeks back behind Hawker Hall at Rosehill. Race shape worked totally against her but she actually found the line well enough in defeat. Think with a more positive ride, she’s dangerous.

3 West Of Africa (Bet Now:  $SP.00) each way for me. Team Archibald trained gelding that resumed at Rosehill two weeks ago behind Grid Girl. He got back to near last in what turned out to be a fast run race. He was never really a winning threat but I did like the way he finished his race off. If he can be within range on the turn, he has the finale to launch over the top.

14 Just Party (Bet Now:  $SP.00) was enormous in defeat at Rosehill to Grid Girl given he was three wide the trip yet still had the hide to loom up big time as the winner but just couldn’t quite get there. He’s flying and has to be respected.

2 Konasana (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is third up from a spell and should be at peak fitness. She ran three weeks back in the Festival where she got back in a race dominated on speed and although she was never really a threat, she did make up headway in a good effort. Dangerous if she can be closer in the run.

11 Alabama Fox (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes here with relatively fresh legs, having not raced since Oct 22 at Warwick Farm when on speed and tried hard but was no match late for a Mare who I think is Stakes class, Frosty Girl. Tick over trial was strong, down in the weights, maps perfect…like her.

10 Bella Corazon (Bet Now:  $SP.00) landed big bets a fortnight back at Rosehill, getting the beaut run in transit just off the speed before angling clear and knuckled down with purpose late to win and win well. Confidence is up, she can go on with it.

2 Flying Thinker (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is third up from a spell and should just about be at peak fitness. She attempted to lead throughout two weeks back at Rosehill and gave a decent sight from the front but just felt the pinch late when fourth. Hard fit, and maybe with a more patient steer, she’ll be more effective.

12 Alabama State (Bet Now:  $SP.00) was a total forgive from the Midway last Saturday. He was building from off speed to be in the finish but as soon as that happened, he copped a check and lost all hope. Flying without much luck IMO, he’s a knockout hope.

3 Step Aside (Bet Now:  $SP.00) was met with late market support when resuming at Rosehill two weeks back. He got off speed and was held up at times but wasn’t too bad late in the piece behind Tuned. Better for the run and if he gets room to move, he’s dangerous.

2 Plundering (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should be better for the first up run, which came over 1100m at Rosehill where the race shape was against him but he stayed on and was pretty good in defeat behind Hawker Hall. Fitter, extra trip, he’s in the mix.

NEXT BEST: Race Four Number 3 Plaintiff

LONG SHOT: Race Ten Number 12 Alabama State
