Nine races have been set down for Doomben on Saturday. The weather is fine, the track is soft (5) and the rail is out three metres for the entire circuit.

6 Dragonne Rouge (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a filly of promise for Shaun Dwyer. She debuted over 1000m at the Sunny Coast where she gave them a start and a beating, letting down with good purpose late to win and win well. She’ll love the rise in trip and if within range, she has the finale to take this out.

2 Get Ready Lass (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks to have returned in beast mode and should take a power of beating here. She resumed three weeks ago over 1000m at the Gold Coast when leading throughout and she gave nothing else a look in to win and win well. Extra 110m should be fine, good racing style, she takes running down.

1 Cuddles For Kimmy (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should appreciate firmer footing after racing on a bog in the Pat O’Shea where she struggled on the Heavy10, like most for the meeting. Total forgive. Proven metro performer and her best is good enough.

5 Jack Duggan (Bet Now:  $SP.00) will land on the bunny and look to give her all. He ran over 2400m at the Sunny Coast just under four weeks ago when on speed and he tried hard to see it through but just couldn’t quite see it through behind El Jasor, who would start favourite here. Keen to see how he goes against these.

11 So You Are (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks a three year old on the up and is one of the leading chances. He ran over 2100m at Wyong last time out and was good late from off the speed behind a tough campaigner, Decadent Tale. He’ll be strong at the end of 2200m and strikes a winnable race.

4 Arizona Dreaming (Bet Now:  $SP.00) will jump on the bunny and look to give his all. He did that a few weeks ago at Eagle Farm, attempting to lead throughout and tried his guts out but just couldn’t quite see it through when run down late by Mahagoni. Front end control, he’ll take running down.

11 Allhallowtide (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is third up from a spell and should just about be at peak fitness. He ran behind Demon Darb last Tuesday at this track/distance. He got back off the speed and was never really a winning threat, but did make up ground. Hard fit, his best is good enough.

5 Noble Conqueror (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should appreciate getting to 1600m after racing last Saturday over 1400m at Eagle Farm. He got a fair way out of his ground and while he was never a winning threat, he did make up ground and was pretty good in defeat behind Shihab. Up in trip, he’s in the mix.

7 Ring Bearer (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes to Doomben after a first up win at Eagle Farm and credit to him, he was first up at the mile and was there to be beaten but he found under pressure to score. Good upside/improvement to come, he’s in the mix.

1 Apuntar (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has the runs on the board to say he’s hard to beat. He ran second to Goodlucktome last Tuesday here, sitting off speed and chased strongly, just missing out on the win. Like him up in trip and is one of the leading contenders.

4 Prince Levi (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has to be given another look for Matty Kropp. He ran last Tuesday at Doomben where he was a short priced favourite but he didn’t fire a shot and was very much on the plaon side late in the piece behind Liberty Park.

3 Mr Bubbaluski (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is racing like 1600m will suit. He ran in the Goodlucktome race mentioned above where he got back off the speed and kept chasing with purpose, but I reckon the sustained run, he couldn’t quite see it through. I think with a drag into the race, 1600m is fine.

6 Sizzling Gal (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is on the seven day back up after racing over 1400m last Saturday at Eagle Farm. She got back off the speed and she took a little too long to wind into her work but she was good late and through the line, suggesting 1600m is ideal and has upside.

1 Hatchet (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has to be a leading chance. He ran last Tuesday over 1350m here where he got back in the run, dragged back, but worked home strongly and was an eye catcher behind Swiss Exile. More positive ride here and he’ll be hard to hold out.

2 Cadetship (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should be fine at 1600m. He ran a few weeks back over 1400m at Eagle Farm. He got a fair way out of his ground and while he was never a winning threat, he kept finding the line and was really good in defeat behind Warby. Dangerous if he can settle closer.

15 Lady Lucifer (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has been placed to advantage by David Vadnyke this time in and looks hard to beat once again. 2/2 this prep, both over 1000m at the Sunny Coast where each time she has been dominant and ran time, so keen to see how she goes at 1110m at this level. But, confident she can measure up.

2 Devastating (Bet Now:  $SP.00) doesn’t have the best of winning strike rates but he is a horse with talent who will be strong late. He resumed over 1000m at Eagle Farm when off speed and chased with purpose in a good return behind Enterprise Lucia. Great second up record, he’s a leading contender.

6 Thelwell (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a Sharryn Livingstone trained gelding that resumes. This guy is first up, having not raced since Oct 26 over this track/distance when on speed and tried hard but just couldn’t quite see it through when last behind Tiger Shark. No public trials but can sprint well fresh.

11 Sheraquay (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is good enough to take this out. Jim Mason trained filly that ran over this track/distance last Tuesday. She got into a good spot off the speed and worked home well enough without really threatening behind Goodlucktome. Back to her own sex, she appeals for sure.

5 Data Scramble (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should appreciate a rise to 1350m after resuming over 1200m at the Gold Coast three weeks ago. She got back on the fence and spotted those in front a start but didn’t mind the way she finished her race off. Fitter and up in trip, she appeals.

3 Maragical (Bet Now:  $SP.00) will land on the bunny and give her all. She attempted to lead throughout here last Tuesday and gave a solid kick from the front but condition just gave way late in the piece. Better for that run under the belt, her best is good enough.

8 Centre Bounce (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should appreciate a rise to 1350m after racing over 1200m last Tuesday here. She got back to near last in the run but worked home with real purpose late in the piece behind John Rambo. She doesn’t have the best of racing patterns but getting to 1350m is ideal and strikes a winnable race.

5 Thankyou Henry (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is hard to beat after racing over 1200m here last Tuesday when off speed and held up at times but kept finding the line in defeat when second to John Rambo. Hard fit now and getting to 1350m, he’ll take beating against these.

7 Scud (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is capable with her best. She ran behind John Rambo last Tuesday here when back off the speed and was held up at times but didn’t mind the way she finished her race off in defeat. If she can settle closer, be within range, she’s definitely dangerous.

12 Set To Shine (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is hard to beat for Tony Gollan off the back of her second over 1400m at Eagle Farm three weeks ago. She attempted to lead throughout and tried her guts out but just couldn’t quite see it through, run down late by stablemate Warby. Has versatility re racing pattern and the extra 200m should be fine.

9 Warby (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has found winning form and he can certainly go on with it. He is three weeks between runs since winning at Eagle Farm over 1400m, giving them a start and a beating, knuckling down with purpose late to win and win well. He has to be respected against these.

11 Devastate (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is three weeks between runs for Tony Gollan since racing over the mile at Eagle Farm when near the speed and tried his guts out but just couldn’t quite get there when a close up second to stablemate Rising Pacific. Good racing style and should take beating.

LONG SHOT: Race Five Number 6 Sizzling Gal
