2 Ever So Ready (Bet Now: $4.60) is three weeks between runs since racing over 1000m at Eagle Farm. He landed on speed and tried hard but just couldn’t quite see it through when third to Unloading. He was 1200m back to 1000m so rising up in trip this time around, he commands respect.

1 Unloading (Bet Now: $5.50) is three weeks between runs since a debut win over 1000m at Eagle Farm, giving them a start and a beating in an impressive effort. Extra 110m should be fine, he commands respect as a key winning chance.

7 Magritte (Bet Now: $12.00) is a Stephen Kirkwood trained filly that resumes. She hasn’t raced since the 2YO Magic Millions at the Gold Coast and was far from disgraced in defeat behind Unit Five. Recent trial was encouraging and does have runs on the board so watch betting.

8 Irama (Bet Now: $6.50) has to be worth a bet each way because of the 49kg. Game second over 1350m here two weeks ago, hailed as the winner but was nabbed on the peg by Tomba. 1600m should be fine, kind map…and the weight just tips me over the edge in his direction.

3 Ramp It Up (Bet Now: $1.75) was a month between runs when racing over this track/distance two weeks ago. He had a sweet sit in transit and loomed big time to win but just lacked the hard fitness and couldn’t quite get the job done. Better for that run, he appeals.

5 Kipling’s Journey (Bet Now: $23.00) comes back to the mile after racing over 2200m two weeks back here. He did too much early work to land on speed and tired late behind Mr O’Reilly. Hit and miss but dangerous if he brings his best.

8 So You Are (Bet Now: $4.80) should be better for the first up run, which came in the Armidale Cup. He got back to near last in the run and while he was never threatening, he kept chasing and was pretty good in defeat. Tick over trial was sharp and for mine, he strikes a very thin race. If he brings his best, I think he wins.

7 Sir Winnie (Bet Now: $4.20) is heading in the right direction for Rex Lipp. He won over the mile at the midweeks at Eagle Farm, sitting on speed and he found under pressure to fend them off and score. Good racing style, he commands respect.

1 Boom Shot (Bet Now: $6.50) ran down the track behind Grammar Lad a fortnight back over 1350m here. He was back near last in the run and while he was never threatening, he kept chasing in a solid effort. If within range, he has the finale to be dangerous.

2 Falcon Lair (Bet Now: $2.15) comes here off the back of a win over this trip at Hawkesbury. He had the beaut run in behind before getting clear air and was strong to the line in winning. Likely has eyes on the Queensland Derby, keen to see how he goes.

3 Zuleika (Bet Now: $3.40) is testing her QLD Oaks credentials here for Henry Dwyer. Not sure she beat much at Mount Gambier last time out but the manner in which she put them away was very impressive. Tricky draw but hard to ignore her.

7 Castello Grande (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a key threat IMO. He ran over the mile at Eagle Farm in a Class 3 last time when off speed and worked home strongly when third to Sir Winnie. Like the rise to 2000m and this isn’t a deep contest I feel.

1 Icarian Dream (Bet Now: $2.25) steps up to 1350m after racing over 1100m at Warwick Farm when off speed and kept chasing with purpose in a definite pass mark behind Our Queen. Fitter and up in trip, good record in Queensland, she appeals against these.

3 Smexy (Bet Now: $5.50) is three weeks between runs since racing over 1200m at Eagle Farm when first up. She took on the older horses and tried hard but just whacked late behind Ten Deep. Fitter and back to her own age, she appeals.

4 Lonesome Soul (Bet Now: $20.00) comes back to 1350m after racing over the mile in the Toowoomba Guineas when off speed and seemed to have her chance but just whacked to the line. Like her back in trip and will be strong late. She can win.

18 Grammar Lad (Bet Now: $4.20) has found winning form and he can certainly go on with it. He won at this track/distance two weeks ago, giving them a start and a beating in an impressive performance. He’s found form, he can hold it and win again.

13 Sultry Siren (Bet Now: $31.00) is bursting to win for Rob Heathcoate. She ran third to Castillian two weeks ago, getting off speed and forced wide on the turn but liked the way she closed off in defeat. If she can settle closer, she’ll take beating.

11 Great Aspirations (Bet Now: $15.00) should be better for the first up run, which came two weeks back at this track/distance. He got into a decent spot just off speed and tried hard but first up, condition just gave way late behind Castillian. Fitter, he appeals.

12 First Mission (Bet Now: $6.00) is running out of chances but I think he gets a great one here He ran over 1200m two weeks ago when leading and just feeling the pinch late. Back to 1110m, front end control, he takes beating.

15 Fragile Love (Bet Now: $13.00) is four weeks between runs since racing over this trip at the Gold Coast. She got into a decent spot off speed and tried hard but just lacked the quality to finish the job behind Flying Destiny. Her best is good enough and she strikes a winnable race.

5 Brereton (Bet Now: $14.00) comes back to 1110m after racing over 1200m three weeks back at Eagle Farm when ridden with intent, landing near the speed and tried hard, but just felt the pinch late behind About To Explode. Like him back in trip and with a more patient steer, he can run a much improved race.

15 Margot’s Deel (Bet Now: $8.50) takes beating here. Jason Edwards trained mare that resumed a few weeks ago in the Military Rose where she got a fair way out of her ground but loved the way she kept chasing in defeat behind a nice mare, Considered. Better set up here, think she’s too good if within range.

9 Castillian (Bet Now: $2.60) is flying for Tony Gollan and commands respect. He has won his past couple, the latest being a fortnight back at this track/distance when leading throughout and giving nothing else a look in to win well. Hard to knock the way he’s racing.

8 Exotique Miss (Bet Now: $8.50) ran third in the King Of The Mountain at Toowoomba. She got off speed and kept chasing but was never really beating Cherry Rose. Like her up to 1350m, towards peak fitness and her best is certainly good enough.
