How to bet at RealBookie!
RealBookie Review
Sometimes when you read something like ‘RealBookie’, you can think it’s BS, but a quick minute of research and you soon realise that they are a wagering operator that can be trusted, and with a high level of confidence.
They have been in the bookie business since 1967, with Mark Sampieri one of the main men in charge, alongside current joint Victorian Bookmakers Association Chairman, Chris Lester, who has held a bookmakers license in the state since 2013. They are two of the more respected bookmakers in the business and have gone online since 2020, with a good level of success.
Their main focus is horse racing in terms of their knowledge but they do provide markets on a number of sports, both Australian and International. The markets are far and wide for the racing, given that is their expertise, but perhaps are lacking on the sporting front, which is the norm for those that use the BetMakers technology. An example is a Rugby League match where there is about 20 markets for it. Elsewhere, namely TAB and Sportsbet, there are 150+, so that can improve.
The intention is clear that they want to challenge the big boys with their racing markets. There is roughly 5000 racing markets on a weekly basis for their racing, and their odds, on certain horses that they want to take on, they will offer the best price, which is a big tick compared to some other wagering operators, who want to cuddle certain runners.
A big tick for them is their live streaming, which is a companion with Sky, but they can also provide streaming on certain international meetings that Sky don’t show, which is something that the likes of Ladbrokes and Bet365 provide, so sitting alongside that pair is a big thing for punters and a massive positive.
The format of the website is similar to that of those that use the BetMakers technology, but the colours and the layout they use is quite sharp. It’s a good way they have it, with the left side being the menu, the middle being the markets and on the right is the bet slip, so it’s all you want on one page, along with the next to race ticker at the top, so punters won’t miss a race.
Their promotions are focused mainly on racing given that is what they know, but those promotions are daily and they are quite good relative to other bookies under the BetMakers format, with daily promotions on race meetings. That said, they also have promotions on the main sports, namely AFL, NRL, Soccer and NBA.
Should I Bet with RealBookie?
Overall Real Bookie really does not offer punters anything more than bookies such as Neds / Ladbrokes or betr who we would definitely recommend punters bet with instead but if you are looking for a new bookie we would recommend swiftbet, Palmerbet or PlayUp.
Online bookmaker Unibet are also offering a $200 matched bet when you sign-up so make sure you check them out.

No. RealBookie do not offer new customers a sign-up bonus. New legislation prevents bookmakers giving new customers incentives but that does not mean you should not bet with RealBookie.
