You have been living under a rock if you haven’t heard of Bet Nation. They launched earlier this year and started with a bang, getting former AFL great Brendan Fevola and former Aussie Test quick Mitchell Johnson as star power to promote the new waging operator.
Who are Bet Nation?
Bet Nation had been in the works for around 18 months but officially launched in July/August 2022 and they clearly wanted to make their prescence felt leading into the Spring Carnival, firstly by getting Fevola and Johnson to be the promoters across social media platforms with advertisements (and dodgy dancing), but secondly and more importantly, the markets they offer across both racing and sport stack up very well with their rivals.
Their website and app is high quality when it comes to being user friendly, being easily accessible for customers wanting to find what they’re looking for. If there is a knock on their brand, it’s the logo itself. The teal, navy and white colours don’t exactly stand out compared to other bookmakers, where they are easy to notice, but perhaps that is due to them being relatively new and being noticable will take time.
The positive side of things re their markets it that they offer a wide range of racing markets, notably through international meetings, some of which aren’t seen with other betting agencies. Their betting options in terms of sports are a bit on the limited side, but again, they’re relatively new, so that should expand with time.
Bet Nation is owned and operated in Australia, something that is a massive tick for punters, especially professional punters, who more often than not side with Australian owned and operated bookmakers, the most notable one being Topsport.
Bet Nation Promotions:
Their promotions stack up very well compared to their rivals, notably on certain races they will offer money back in bonus bets for bets that finish 2nd through to 10th.
An interesting aspect with Bet Nation is that there isn’t any links on their site/app to their social media platforms, which seems strange given how frequent they are across platforms like Facebook and Instagram, and how their advertisements are all over those respective platforms.
A big tick for Bet Nation is their acknowledgment how dangerous problem gambling is. Some bookmakers look the other way when it comes to this subject, and even promote furthermore to encourage those type of punters, but Bet Nation should be applauded for their commitment to the cause and trying to help those who may have a problem.
