General Admission tickets for next Saturday’s Ladbrokes Cox Plate Day (October 28) at The Valley are officially sold out.
The total allocation of General Admission tickets was exhausted on Friday morning.
The day features two Group 1 races, Australia’s Best Race, the Ladbrokes Cox Plate, along with the Ladbrokes Manikato Stakes.
While General Admission and Dining are now sold out, there are still options available to secure a place at The Valley on Ladbrokes Cox Plate Day, including joining as a Moonee Valley Racing Club Member starting from $195, purchasing a grandstand seat from $125, or gain entry to the all-inclusive Ladbrokes Lawn Party for $400.
MVRC are also excited to announce one of Australia’s most exciting singer-songwriters, James Johnston, will perform on Ladbrokes Cox Plate Day.
A winner of two 2023 Golden Guitar Awards, including New Talent of the Year, Johnston will perform the iconic Australian song The Horses, along with his ARIA chart-topping single Raised Like That, which has had over 16 million streams on Spotify.
MVRC General Manager – Marketing & Communications Troy Ratcliffe said Ladbrokes Cox Plate Day was on track to be completely sold out.
“It is shaping up to be a massive day here on Ladbrokes Cox Plate Day. For those still wanting to attend on the day there are still limited options available. We are expecting a full sell-out so I encourage everyone to act quickly to secure their spot to experience a legendary day trackside.”
General Admission tickets are still available for Ladbrokes Cox Plate Eve, headlined by the Group 2 Ladbrokes Moonee Valley Gold Cup and a post-race concert by internationally acclaimed DJ Will Sparks.
Ladbrokes Cox Plate Carnival week starts with the traditional Breakfast with the Best trackwork session at The Valley on Tuesday morning, where key carnival contenders will be on show. Entry is just a gold coin donation.
