Hall Of Fame jockey and one of the best jockeys New Zealand has seen ‘Bill Skelton’ has passed away at the age of 85.
He remains the most successful jockey of the 20th century in New Zealand as well as becoming the first New Zealand jockey to ride 2000 winners.
In Australia Skelton won the Cox Plate and Victoria Derby aboard Daryl’s Joy.
