Glorious Goodwood wraps up this Saturday, with the Lillie Langtry Stakes (2816m) attracting a strong field for the Fillies & Mares.

6 Mount Atlas (Bet Now:  $SP.00) each way for me. Andrew Balding trained gelding that won over this trip at Ascot where he tracked the speed before being presented clear air and got better as the race went on to win and win well. Good test here against likely types, but confident he measures up.

1 Al Aasy (Bet Now:  $SP.00) will welcome back to this level after contesting the Hardwicke at Royal Ascot here he was outclassed but for the most part, was far from disgraced. Much better suited at this level, he has class on his side.

3 Arabian Crown (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should be better for the first up, which came over this trip at Newmarket where he had the right run in transit and loomed to win but first up, condition just gave way late when third. Fitter, good upside to come, he’s capable.

1 Wonder Legend (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes back to 2800m for James Ferguson after resuming in the Gold Cup at Ascot. He lost a shoe in the run and was hampered when trying to make a run, which force rider Daniel Muscatt to pull the horse up. Prior efforts were quite strong, he can bounce back.

8 French Duke (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has been given a mini freshen up since contesting the Duke Of Edinburgh at Royal Ascot when back off the speed and and kept chasing to the line but was never really a winning threat. Better for the run, he’s capable.

11 Master Builder (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a son of Mastercraftsman that resumes. His last run came at this track/distance back on May 24 when off speed and was pretty good in defeat when fourth. He is a horse who does go well on the fresh side, so watch betting.

Confident that 3 Goodie Two Shoe (Bet Now:  $SP.00) can measure up. Joseph O’Brien trained mare that comes here off the back of three wins, the latest being over this trip at Fairyhouse where she gave them a start and a beating, letting down with a strong finale to score. Good test here but confident she measures up.

7 Term Of Endearment (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes back to 2816m after racing over two miles in the Coral Marathon where she tried hard but the 3200m was just a bridge too far when fourth in the field of four. She won this race last year and looks hard fit to repeat the dose.

9 Waardah (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is lightly raced but is heading in the right direction. She has been freshened up since a win over 2000m here on June 8 where she was on speed and was strong in the run to the line. The test here is strong, the distance is the query, but she’s progressive.

5 Elmonjed (Bet Now:  $SP.00) on top. William Haggas trained gelding that won over this trip at York last start, being tardy to begin before quickly picking up and tracking the speed before being clicked up and away she went to win and win well. Confident he measures up.

16 Circe (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has been kept on ice since June 21 when a strong winner at Newmarket. She tracked the speed and what I liked is that she knuckled down with purpose late to fend them off and score. Good test here, but Ryan Moore sticks and she is genuine. 22 Run Boy Run (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes back to 1200m after racing over 1400m at Newmarket last start when on speed and felt the pinch the final 200m, finsihing down the track. Like her back to 1200m and if she gets a reasonable run on speed, she is good enough to threaten. (on speed, tired last two)

4 Montpellier (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has done little wrong in a three start career and is one of the hardest to beat. He won his first two before going to Salisbury where he was slow to begin and got back in the run but worked home quite strongly late in the piece when second. 1400m is fine, hard to hold out.

9 El Matador (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a son of Lope De Vega that resumes. He is first up, having not raced since May 30 when making it two on the bounce, giving them a start and a beating to win at Chepstow. Tricky race to resume in but he looks progressive.

7 Consolidation (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes back to 1400m after being thrown in the deep end in the Britannia when outclassed, finishing down the track behind Arabian Story. Like him back to 1400m and prior efforts were quite strong.

9 Isaac Newton (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is short, but he does look the good thing of the entire Carnival. He debuted over this trip a couple of weeks ago at Curragh and worked home with real purpose from off the speed when second. Better for the run and if he handles a shifty track, he has lengths on these.

8 Ghost Mode (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should be better for the debut run, which came over 1200m at Kempton. He chased near the speed throughout and kept on in a pretty good effort in defeat behind Cape Orator. Fitter and up in trip, he only runs well.

11 Lion Of Alba (Bet Now:  $SP.00) steps up to 140m after a debut over 1300m at Newbury where he was quite raw and new to the caper, getting back and was never really a factor. Better for the run, I’d watch the market and see what it does.

12 Gladius (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is the straight bat play to close out the Carnival. He was a sharp winner over this trip during at Sandown, landing near the speed and chased with purpose to draw clear late and win impressively. Heading in the right direction, happy to be in his corner.

2 Treasure Time (Bet Now:  $SP.00) steps up to 1800m after racing over the mile at Sandown when first up. He tracked the speed and was there to threaten when asked but first up, condition just gave way late in the piece. Fitter and up in trip, he only runs well.

11 Primo Lara (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes back to 1800m after racing over 2300m at Windsor last start. That run was on June 28 and was the last run for Jessica Harrington. Now with the Morland camp, fresh legs and back in trip, he can run a positive race.
