8 Majestic Delight (Bet Now:  $SP.00) for me in the opener. He ran over 1400m here last time out where he got off speed and did make up some headway but was never really threatening when fifth. Like him back to a truly run 1200m, will be strong late and strikes a winnable race.

2 Come Fast Fay Fay (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a few weeks between runs since racing at this track/distance where he got back to near last in the run and while he was never a winning threat, he did make up ground and was good in defeat. Maps to settle much closer and will be effective late.

4 Happy Boys (Bet Now:  $SP.00) steps up to 1200m after racing over 1000m at Happy Valley where he was tardy to begin, got back and was never really a factor. Back up in trip, his best is good enough to be dangerous at a likely price.

9 Prestige Hall (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is just under three weeks between runs since a placing at this track/distance when off speed, back near last, but really liked the way he finished his race off in defeat behind Happy Shooter. If he can get a drag into the race, he’ll be hard to hold out.

5 Never Settle (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes here with fresh legs, having not raced since Jan 14 over this trip at Happy Valley. He got a bumpy run in transit, not the clearest of paths, and while on paper it doesn’t read great, I think he had excuses. Looks to have trialled well since, he can bounce back.

3 Free Pony (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes back to 1200m after racing over 1400m here last start when near the speed and I thought was there to win but just felt the pinch late. Like him back in trip…doubt he wins but he can run first four.

5 Forever Folks (Bet Now:  $SP.00) on top. He has been freshened up since Jan 21 when a winner over 1800m here, sitting just off speed before being given clear air and away he went to win and win quite well. Back in trip is fine, kind map once again, rates highly.

6 Glorious Success (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran midfield behind Forever Folks in the race mentioned above. He got off speed and while he was never a winning threat, he kept chasing and was pretty good late in the piece. Maps to settle closer and be effective late.

3 Master Trillion (Bet Now:  $SP.00) hasn’t raced since Jan 11 over this track/distance. He got into a decent spot just off speed but was very weak late and was never really a factor. Blinkers come off, he has a kind map in the corner, not dismissing him entirely.

6 Good Luck Happy (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is bursting to win and I think he gets his chance here. He ran two weeks ago over this trip at Happy Valley. He just got too far out of his ground but did like the way he finished his race off in defeat. If he can a drag into the race and be within range, I think good luck beating him.

1 Elite Gulf (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has been kept on the fresh side since a win over this track/distance on Jan 11, sitting on speed and he found plenty under pressure to fend them off and score. Tricky gate but will press forward and be around the mark.

9 Russet Glow (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should be better for the debut run, which came on Jan 25 over this track/distance. He was tardy to begin with and was never really a factor from that point on. Maps to do no work and had trialled well prior. Not dismissing.

3 Circuit Champion (Bet Now:  $SP.00) was big odds when debuting at this track/distance on Jan 18 and was quite good I thought, closing with real purpose late in the piece when second to Cool Boy. Maps to settle much closer and with natural improvement from start one, he clearly appeals.

1 Crossborderdude (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a tick under three weeks between runs since a track/distance win, leading throughout and despite getting the staggers late, he had enough in hand to score. Looks to find the top again and will take running down.

8 Comet Radiance (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has had two career runs, both over 1000m down the straight here, and is racing like 1200m will be ideal. Latest run was just under three weeks back when off speed and was solid late without threatening.

11 Top Dragon (Bet Now:  $SP.00) could still be a Derby contender but would need to win this I say to warrant heading down that path, which I think he will. I think he should have placed in the Classic Mile. Little Paradise was outstanding but this guy was unlucky nearer the inside. He’s right down in the weights, he’ll be strong late and has strong form lines.

1 Encountered (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes back to the mile after racing over 1800m in the Centenary Vase. Race shape was against him but he kept chasing and was quite good in defeat. Back to the mile, if within range, he’s dangerous for sure.

8 Regal Gem (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes to the turf after racing over the mile on the dirt. He was off speed and was pretty good late without threatening behind noted dirt track specialist New Forest. Not sure he is good enough to win but can run first four.

4 Aeroinvincible (Bet Now:  $SP.00) on top for me. He attempted to lead throughout just under three weeks ago at this track/distance. He gave a strong kick from the front and was hailed as the winner, but just couldn’t quite see it through when second. Front end control, he takes running down.

1 Gallant Epoch (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran third at this track/distance just under three weeks back. He got into a decent spot in transit and did try hard but just couldn’t quite get there when third. Tricky gate but with a positive ride, I say he’s dangerous.

6 Chater Flash (Bet Now:  $SP.00) was an eye catcher late behind Crossborderdude in the race mentioned above. He got back to near last in the run and while he was never a winning threat, he kept chasing and was pretty good late. If within range, he can launch late.

1 Happy Index (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a few weeks between runs since a track/distance win, giving them a beating in an impressive display after sitting near the speed. Progressive horse heading in the right direction, I am keen on his prospects against this lot.

4 The Unique Star (Bet Now:  $SP.00) steps up to 1200m after making his Hong Kong debut over 1000m down the straight here. He landed near the speed and did try hard but just couldn’t quite see it through. Better for the run and despite 1200m being a query, he has a good racing style and should run well once again.

10 Akermanis Gold (Bet Now:  $SP.00) steps up to 1200m after racing down the straight here just under three weeks back. He was raw and green and didn’t really fire when down the track. Like him back onto a bending track, he’s one for exotics.

1 Gentleman Legacy (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is the way I am leaning. He last raced on Jan 25 over this track/distance where he got off speed and worked home with purpose in a pretty good effort in defeat. Tick over trial was pretty good, he’ll be strong late and finds a suitable race.

7 Le Zonda (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran sixth in the same race mentioned above, won by Winning Wing. He got a fair way out of his ground and while he was never threatening, he kept chasing and was a definite pass mark. If he can get luck from the gate, he’s dangerous.

5 Noisy Boy (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran down the track in the Winning Wing race and was a total forgive I thought. He was wide no cover for the trip and the hard run told on him late. Better run in transit, he’s good enough to threaten here at odds.

Good test here for 13 Hot Delight (Bet Now:  $SP.00) but I am confident he can measure up here. He ran over this track/distance on debut, giving them a start and a beating in an impressive effort. Jumps straight to Class 3 company but I think he can more than hold his own.

9 Armour War Eagle (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is under two weeks between runs since a placing at this track/distance, sitting off speed and worked home strongly late when second. Knocking on the door to win, he commands respect against these.

5 Thriving Brothers (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes back to 1200m after racing over 1400m here last start. He landed on speed and I thought was there to win but just couldn’t quite run the trip out. Back to 1200m I like, he’s in the mix for exotics.

8 Hymnbrook (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is worth a throw at the stumps in the get out. Former UK galloper that makes his Hong Kong debut off the back of encouraging trial work. I think he will be better suited over further but off his trials, I think he’s dangerous at a price.

2 Super Express (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is just under three weeks between runs since an impressive track/distance win, giving them a start and a beating in a sharp display. A horse clearly heading in the right direction, he’s one of the hardest to beat.

1 Gracious Express (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a few weeks between runs since racing over 1200m when wide no cover for the trip and the hard run just told late. Like the rise in trip and hopefully can get a better run in transit.
