2 Courier Magic (Bet Now:  $SP.00) on top in the opener. He has been freshened up, having not raced since Jan 21 at this track/distance when back near last in the run and while he was never threatening, he kept chasing and was pretty good in defeat. Tick over trial was good and if he can be within range, he’ll take holding out.

1 Celestial Harmony (Bet Now:  $SP.00) hasn’t raced since that win mentioned above. He got the beaut run in transit near the speed before being clicked up and away he went to win and win well. Tricky gate but hard to ignore how he won last time.

7 Family Fortune (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes back to the mile after racing over 1800m three weeks back. He got off speed and did make up headway but was never threatening. Better suited at this trip, he’s dangerous.

9 Majestic Delight (Bet Now:  $SP.00) for me. He ran a few weeks ago at this track/distance, sitting off speed and closed strongly when second. Maps ideally and should be strong at the end. Hard to beat against these.

5 Rewarding Twinkle (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has been given a mini freshen up since Feb 1 at this track/distance when placing behind Shotgun. He had his chance but battled away really well in defeat. Tricky gate but commands respect.

3 Dash (Bet Now:  $SP.00) hasn’t raced since Jan 25 at this track/distance. He seemingly had his chance in transit but just whacked in the run to the line. Tick over trial was good and this isn’t an overly deep contest.

1 Crossborderdude (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should be putting this field away. He is a few weeks between runs since a track/distance placing when near the speed and was there to win but just couldn’t quite finish the job. Lands in a plum spot and Purton on, he’s a clear top seed.

7 Russet Glow (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran third over this track/distance a few weeks ago. He got back off speed and spotted those in front a start but I really liked the way he closed his race off. If he can used the inside gate to advantage, he’ll be a leading threat.

6 Perfect Triumph (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a son of Merchant Navy that debuts. He has had three trials to get ready for start one and for the most part has looked pretty good to the eye. I’d say watch betting and see what it does.

3 Flying Sniper (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks a pretty good animal that debuts and I think can make a winning debut. He has looked shoe in trial work to get ready for start one and good lead is that Purton is booked.

4 Happy Brethren (Bet Now:  $SP.00) debuted three weeks ago at this track/distance. He got back off speed and kept chasing in an encouraging debut when fourth. Better for the run, I’d say he’s in the mix here.

2 Phoenix Light (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is three weeks between runs since racing at this track/distance where he got back to near last in the run and while he was never threatening, he did make up ground and was pretty good late. If within range, he can be dangerous.

4 Forever Folks (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is the way I am leaning. He ran over the mile on the course proper three weeks ago where he got back to near last in the run and was good late without threatening. Has run well on the dirt before and off last run, he’s one of the hardest to beat.

7 Happy Universe (Bet Now:  $SP.00) was a real eye catcher several weeks ago at this track/distance, getting back to near last in the run but loved the way he closed off. Just needs to get a drag into the race to take beating.

6 Never Peter Out (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a dirt track specialist that is in the mix as a multiple contender. He ran on Feb 14 at this track/distance when down the track in a plain effort. Tick over trial was solid, not dismissing.

5 The Unique Star (Bet Now:  $SP.00) was quite good at this track/distance first up before going to 1200m a few weeks ago and tried hard but the six furlongs just saw him out. Back to 1000m I like, will land near the front and only run well.

2 Glowing Praises (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran fifth over 1200m here a few weeks back. He got into a decent spot near the speed and was there to threaten but just whacked late. He is suited back to 1000m and commands respect.

9 Tactical Ace (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is an interesting runner. Former Queenslander that makes her Hong Kong debut and hasn’t looked too bad in trial work, so I’d say watch the market and see what it does against these.

2 Papaya Brose (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should take beating after a debut win over 1200m here, giving them a start and a beating in a very impressive effort, knuckling down with purpose when asked. He should love the extra 200m and with less convictions than most, is a clear top seed.

7 California Bay (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a couple of weeks between runs since racing at this track/distance. He tried his guts out after getting a decent run in transit but just couldn’t quite finish the job. Tricky gate but commands respect.

10 Thunder Prince (Bet Now:  $SP.00) steps up to 1400m after racing over 1200m here a few weeks back. He got a fair way out of his ground and while he was never threatening, he kept chasing and was a definite pass mark. Like him up in trip. Just hope he can settle closer.

2 Dragon Air Force (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is one of the hardest to beat after a track/distance placing. He got back to near last in the run but really liked the way he finished his race off in defeat. Just hoping for a more positive steer and he’ll be hard to hold out.

3 Telecom Fighters (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has a solid track/distance record and is capable. He ran over this trip at Happy Valley last start when on speed and fought hard but just couldn’t quite get there. Good racing style, he’ll give cheek.

8 Thunder Blaze (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes to the dirt after racing over the mile on the turf a few weeks back when just off speed and whacked late without threatening. Has more upside than most not entirely dismissing.

10 Big Return (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is three weeks between runs since a track/distance placing when off speed and spotted those in front a start but didn’t mind the way he finished off. If he can settle closer, he’ll take beating here.

9 Amazing Duck (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is four weeks between runs since running second at this track/distance. He landed in a decent spot in transit and was there to win. He just lacked any real change up speed. Honest type, he should be around the mark.

5 Devas Twelve (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran fourth over this track/distance last start. He sat on speed throughout and tried hard but just felt the pinch late. He’ll land near the front again and give a decent sight at a price.

4 Smart Golf (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks a talented type. He was a sharp track/distance winner three weeks ago, sitting near the speed and was trucking before being clicked up and away he went to win and win well. If he can overcome the draw, he’s the one to beat.

3 Red Sea (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is several weeks between runs since placing at this track/distance. He attempted to lead throughout and gave a decent sight but first up, condition gave late. Maybe with a more patient steer, he’s dangerous.

7 Thunder Kit (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran third at this track/distance a few weeks back. He got off speed snd while he was never threatening, he kept chasing and was good in defeat. Hard to beat if he can settle closer.

7 Fit For Beauty (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks the each way gamble on the program. He ran over 1200m here a few weeks ago where he got back to near last in the run and while he was never threatening, he kept chasing and was pretty good late. Fitter, can settle closer, he’ll take holding out.

2 Mighty Masts (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes back to 1400m after racing over the mile here. He landed in a decent spot near the speed and was there to threaten but just whacked. Like him back in trip and despote the wide gate, commands respect.

3 Do You Just (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes back to 1400m after racing over the mile in both runs back where he has been a bit on the plain side. I do think back in trip is a positive snd is a definite improver at odds.
