Nine races will be run and won at Happy Valley this Wednesday with good depth across the program.

3 Island Breezes (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is several weeks between runs since racing at this track/distance where he got off speed and kept chasing with purpose in a pretty good effort in defeat, if he can settle closer and be within range, he’ll take holding out.

6 King Alloy (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes back to 1000m after attempting to lead throughout over 1200m two weeks ago here. He gave a good sight from the front but just felt the pinch late. Back to 1000m, he’ll press forward and take running down.

7 Robot Knight (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is here with fresh legs, having not raced since Jan 21 over 1200m at Sha Tin when off speed and tried hard but was never really a factor. He’ll spot them a start but be strong late and can win.

2 The Heir (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is the way I landed. He ran over this track/distance on Feb 11 where he got back to near last in the run and while he was never a winning threat, I loved the way he kept chasing. If he can use the inside gate to advantage, he’ll take beating.

4 King Glorioso (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran fourth in the race mentioned above, won by Flying Wrote. He got into a decent spot in transit and was there to win but just couldn’t quite finish the job. Tricky draw but commands respect.

3 Fashion Legend (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is likely using this as a prep run for a mile race on the dirt given that is where he races best. That said, he had that set up last start and was pretty plain. Hit and miss…doubt he wins but he can run first four.

5 Amazing Award (Bet Now:  $SP.00) on top, just. He placed two weeks ago at this track/distance where he got into a decent spot off speed and presented to win but he couldn’t quite get there. Racing well, knocking on the door, he is top seed for me.

4 Fortune Star (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran in the same race mentioned above, won by Stormi. He seemingly got into a decent spot in transit and was there to threaten I thought. He couldn’t quite get there. Tricky gate but his recent racing says he commands respect.

2 Stellar Swift (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes to Happy Valley after racing over 1400m at Sha Tin. He settled off speed and seemed to have his chance but was far from disgraced. Like the rise in trip and is a knockout hope.

7 Good Luck Win (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is the each way gamble on the program. He ran behind Stormi in the race mentioned above where he was wide no cover throughout and the hard run just told late. Maps to stalk the leader and will be effective late. Only runs well.

10 Run Run Timing (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks the likely leader and will take running down, as seen on Feb 11 at this track/distance. He led throughout and gave nothing else a look in to win impressively. Should get front end control and be hard to get past.

12 Setanta (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is several weeks between runs since racing at this track/distance. He got back to near last in the run and while he was never a winning threat, he kept chasing and was good in defeat. If within range, he has the finale to take this out.

3 Bienvenue (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should prove hard to beat after racing two weeks ago at this track/distance where he got off speed and was held up at times but loved the way he closed off late when second. If he can settle closer and be within range, he’ll take holding out.

4 Sight Hermoso (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is on the quick back up after racing last Sunday over this trip at Sha Tin. He got into a decent spot in transit and was there to win but he couldn’t quite get there. Tricky gate but command respect.

5 Sugar Sugar (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran third two weeks back at this track/distance. He got off speed and closed his race off really well in defeat. If he can use the gate to advantage, he’ll take holding out at odds.

1 Victor The Rapid (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is hard to beat after racing two weeks ago at this track/distance when off speed, spotting those in front a start but I did like the way he finished his race off behind Northern Fire Ball. If he can settle closer, he takes holding out.

10 Riding High (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is several weeks between runs since racing over this trip when on speed throughout and tried his guts out but just couldn’t quite see it through. Good racing style, he’ll take running down.

5 King Cannon (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a son of Grunt that debuts. He has had extensive trial work to get ready for start one and for the most part has been pretty good. Tricky draw but watch betting and seeing what he does.

2 Northern Fire Ball (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is the straight bat play. He was an all the way winner at this track/distance two weeks ago, giving nothing else a look in to win well. Should find the top again and for mine, only runs well.

7 Winning Money (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has been given a freshen up, not raced since Jan 14 when a strong on speed winner at thus track/distance. Tricky gate but will press forward and be around the mark.

11 Kiama (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has been strong in two runs back from a spell, each coming at Sha Tin where he has got back and found the line really well. If he can be within range, I think he has the finale to be dangerous.

9 Meowth (Bet Now:  $SP.00) steps up to Class 3 from Class 4 but he gets weight relief and strikes a winnable Class 3. He ran a few weeks ago at this track/distance when off speed and worked home with real purpose when second. Happy to be in his corner.

5 Metro Power (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is on the seven day back up after racing last Wednesday at this track/distance when trying hard but had to settle for a second to Amazing Kid. Hard fit, he should be around the mark.

1 Love Together (Bet Now:  $SP.00) was a bit on the plain side two weeks back at this track/distance when off speed, ridden quite odd I thought, and was never a factor. Prior efforts were sound so I am not dismissing.

2 Mister Dapper (Bet Now:  $SP.00) on top in the get out. He hasn’t raced since Feb 11 when an on speed winner over the mile here. Credit to him, he was there to be beaten but he found under pressure to score. Think the trip is okay, he’s in the mix.

4 Keefy (Bet Now:  $SP.00) steps up to 1800m after racing over the mile here two weeks ago. He got back to near last in the run and while he was never threatening, I did like the way he closed off. Like the rise in trip, he’s in the mix for sure.

8 Fallon (Bet Now:  $SP.00) hasn’t raced since Jan 21 over the mile at Sha Tin when off speed and just whacked late. Tick over trials have been good…not sure I could back to win but a must for exotics.
