Yulong has finalised its expanded two-state stallion roster for 2026, confirming service fees for a number of high-profile young sprinters set to stand in New South Wales and Victoria.
Group 1 Blue Diamond Stakes winner Devil Night will stand at Yulong’s new Hunter Valley base, Segenhoe Stud, at an introductory fee of $33,000 (inc GST).
The colt was recently scratched from the Group 1 Doomben 10,000 due to a minor setback before travelling north, with connections opting to retire him to stud.
Joining him in the NSW roster is Private Harry, who will stand for $27,500 after winning his first five starts, including victory in The Galaxy.
The son of Harry Angel, trained by Chris Waller, was unplaced in the Doomben 10,000 at his most recent outing.
The Hunter Valley roster will be led by Alabama Express at $66,000, with Lucky Vega ($27,500) and Tagaloa ($22,000) also relocating from Yulong’s Victorian base to Segenhoe.
Meanwhile, Yulong’s Victorian roster of eight stallions will continue to operate alongside the new NSW expansion, headlined by Pierata ($33,000), Growing Empire ($22,000) and first-season sire Vinrock ($22,000), the latter a Group 1 ATC Sires’ Produce Stakes winner.
The dual-state approach marks a significant step in Yulong’s growth strategy, strengthening its presence in Australia’s premier breeding regions and offering breeders greater access to its expanding stallion ranks.</
