Selling around 5.00pm on Tuesday from Newgate, ‘her pedigree positions her attractively for breeders seeking the Fastnet Rock influence at the mile and beyond and the stamina of Montjeu.’
A six-year-old bay mare by Your Song, the dominant Group 1 son of Fastnet Rock, out of Jay ‘n’ Ava by Authorized by Montjeu, she is the family of the great sire Bletchingley through his dam Coogee.
Winning twice up to 1400m, in 2025 she won the Gr3 Dark Jewel Classic of 1400m in track record time of 1-21.23s under Christian Reith, coming from last to first and not touched with the whip.
Now coming off an excellent fourth in the Dark Jewel at Scone last week, she was also fourth in Gr1 Coolmore Classic beaten under a length having missed start and suffering interference.
Twice Group 3 placed, she recently contested the Gr1 Queen of the Turf at Randwick, and was the victim of a five-horse cascading barrier incident in the opening strides of the race.
And it’s ‘her owners and breeders Dr Max and Sally Kowalczuk who have agreed in principle to retain a continuing ownership share of approximately 10% under the right sale conditions.’

The broodmare section on Day Two features 55 black type performers as well as proven Group producers and relations to present stars, and members of the world’s influential families.
