“This is a massive coup for Aquis and the Australian breeding industry,” said Aquis Director of Sales, Jonathan Davies, “with Aclaim being a proven Group 1 sire, with a massive upside.”

“As he’s on a sharp upward trajectory to be one of the leading stallions in Britain, he’s already sire of Group 1 classic winner Cachet, plus Europe’s most exciting speed horse in Royal Aclaim.”

“With large numbers coming through, its anyone’s guess what he will have achieved when the first of Aclaims’ Australian-bred progeny hit the sales,” as Britain’s Leading First Season Sire.

In siring the classic winner Cachet in his first crop to take out the 1000 Guineas at Newmarket, she was also a head second in the French 1000 Guineas, the Poule d’Essai des Pouliches.

Also winning the Nell Gwyn Stakes, she was second in the Rockfel Stakes, also at Newmarket, third in the Newmarket Fillies Mile and fourth in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf.

Already with three-from-three at 5f, Royal Aclaim took out the York City Wallis Stakes, and is joined by the stakes placed winners Jacinda, Beautiful Black, Woman of Ciprea, Chelsea Gardens.

With his progeny selling up to 150,000 Gns and €100,000, his oldest are now 3yo’s and with 103 progeny to race, he has 55 winners at 53%, and is a winner of 7 races from 6f to 1 mile.

The winner of the Group 1 Prix de la Foret of 1400m, the Challenge Stakes and Park Stakes, both at 7f, Aclaim was also second in the Prix Maurice de Gheest and the Lucken Stakes in Ireland.

A bay standing 16.0hh, he’s by the speed source and young sire-of-sires in Acclamation, and being a coup for breeders in from the immediate family of world-famous Derby sire in Montjeu.

Bred by Dermot Farrington and Qld’s Canning Downs, Aclaim is from the stakes placed winning Danraod mare Aris, a half-sister to the stakes producing Irish 1000 Guineas winner Again.

“Glenfiddich is an absolute machine,” said trainer Peter Moody, with his Bill Stutt Stakes winner retiring to Aquis Farm at Wonglepony, Queensland for this 2022 season.

“Glenfiddich is one of the nicest colts I’ve put a bridle on, and I still can’t believe we never got that Group 1 next to his name, but I’m confident he‘ll throw very nice horses like himself.”

In taking out the Bill Stutt of 1600m at Moonee Valley, he defeated the next start Moonee Valley Vase winner Cherry Tortoni by 2 lengths, having previously run third in the Memsie Stakes.

At two he won the Mornington 2YO Sires Stakes of 1500m, was a head second to King’s Legacy in the Champagne Stakes plus the Blue Diamond Prelude C&G and MM Adelaide 2YO Classic.

A bay standing 16.0hh, he’s by the multiple Champion Sire in Fastnet Rock, the sire of 42 Group 1 winners world-wide, with progeny earnings of $233 million and 186 Stakes winners.

In being from the US winning First Defence mare Nothin But A Dream, he’s the family of $2.9m Magic Millions hero Eleven Eleven, plus top-line sires Siege of Quebec, Bull Point and Criterion.

The Manikato Stakes winner Jonker also retires to Aquis in a winning time of 1:09.36 sec. for the 1200m,’ in putting-on a spectacular exhibition of blistering sustained speed.’

In recording the fastest time of any male, he was almost two seconds quicker than his sire Spirit of Boom and grand-sire Sequalo over the same track and distance, on the same track conditions.

Also Group 1 placed in the Kingsford-Smith Cup and The Galaxy, he’s the winner of 5 races up to 1200m including the Keith Noud Stakes and the Wyong Magic Millions 2YO Classic.

‘A strong masculine bay standing 15.3½hh, with incredible balance and athleticism,’ Jonker’s the best produce of his exceptional dual Group 1 winning sire Spirit Boom, a son of Sequalo.

In being the family of Octagonal, Danewin and Commands, Jonker is out of the winning Kempinsky mare Hearts And Arrows, half-sister to the Group 3 winners Fiscal Fantasy and Fair Trade.
