Racing enthusiasts have a new name to watch as Time of My Life, the half-sister to the legendary mare Winx, is poised to make her highly-anticipated debut.
The three-year-old, sired by I Am Invincible, recently demonstrated her promise with an impressive win in a 750-metre jumpout at Pakenham, ridden by Luke Nolen.
Time of My Life is the ninth foal out of Vegas Showgirl and has been retained for racing by her breeder, John Camilleri.
In addition to this blue-blooded filly, Camilleri also bred another horse from Vegas Showgirl named Covent Garden.
As for Vegas Showgirl’s other progeny, City of Lights has been transferred to Joe Pride after a winning debut at Geelong earlier this year, and Michael Freedman is currently training a two-year-old named Taleitaki.
With racing royalty in their stables, trainers Peter Moody and Katherine Coleman are undoubtedly eager to unveil Time of My Life in a race by the end of next week.
