Western Australia’s premier sprint meeting will become part of the Hong Kong Jockey Club’s prestigious World Pool program for the first time this spring, with three races from Winterbottom Stakes Day at Ascot to be commingled through the global wagering platform.
The November 28 meeting has been selected for World Pool coverage, giving TABtouch Pinnacles Day unprecedented exposure to an international betting audience and significantly expanding its global wagering reach.
Headlining the program is the $1.5 million Group 1 Winterbottom Stakes, one of Australia’s premier sprint contests.
The Hong Kong Jockey Club has also confirmed several other Australian meetings will feature World Pool wagering during the spring carnival.
Full-card World Pool coverage will be provided on Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes Day at Caulfield on September 19 and VRC Oaks Day at Flemington on November 5.
In addition, the Group 1 C F Orr Stakes on November 14 has been selected as a standalone World Pool race.
Flemington’s Group 1 Turnbull Stakes Day will also return to the World Pool schedule for the first time since 2023, further strengthening Australia’s presence on the international wagering stage.
