A deal reported to be worth in the vicinity ofย $8-$9million dollars has been completed for boom colt Winning Rupert with Newgate Farm securing his services.
Trainer Bjorn Baker took to twitter to announce that the deal had been completed and his star sprinters racing career was over after suffering an injury in the Magic Millions Guineas where he was the beaten odds on favourite.
The FASTEST horse I have EVER had anything to do with. Injury has him retired to stud @newgatefarm.

Winning Rupert won his first five races in impressive fashion breaking Eagle Farm’s 1200m and 1300m track records in the process before his failure in the Magic Millions Guineas.
The son of Written Tycoon was a $67,500 purchase from the Magic Millions Gold Coast sale and amassed over $1million in earnings in his short ten month racing career.
