Unbeaten sprinter Smooth Chino has locked in a place in the $5 million Quokka after being chosen to represent the Unibet slot.
Prepared by Indianna Weinert, the progressive gelding will contest the April 18 feature at Ascot in partnership with Unibet and Chief Racing, following his rapid rise through the Western Australian sprint ranks.
Smooth Chino boasts a perfect six-from-six record, highlighted by victories in the Magic Millions WA 3YO Trophy and the Listed Black Heart Bart Stakes.
The four-year-old has quickly established himself as one of the state’s most exciting speedsters and will now get the opportunity to measure up against elite interstate and local opposition in WA’s richest race.
