Scobie Breasley Medal contender Blake Shinn will make the trip to the Top End to ride at Monday’s Darwin Cup meeting.
The star jockey has secured three key rides for close friend and former jockey turned trainer Peter Robl.
Shinn’s feature mount is Hadouken in the $200,000 Darwin Cup (2050m), where the galloper has firmed into a $2.90 favourite after opening at $3.80.
Earlier on the card, Shinn will ride Stormfront in the Ladbrokes Handicap (1600m) and Zourata in the Lightning Plate (1000m).
His presence adds extra star power to what is shaping as a massive Darwin Cup day.
