Looking to lift his earnings to $830,000 with an eighth career win, and having won up to 2000m at Listed level, he’ll be ridden by James McDonald for Hall of Fame trainer Chris Waller from Gate 1.
Purchased by Chris Waller and Guy Munster for $500,000 at the 2022 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale, he’s from the immediate family of QTC Cup winner and successful sire Spill The Beans.
Also a half-brother to triple Group 1 and Australasian Oaks winner Kenedna, he’s sired by the reigning Australian Leading Sire The Autumn Sun and was consigned by Arrowfield Stud.
Priced as the $3.50 second pick for Nash Rawiller is Eliyass, who is coming off victory in the Premier Prelude and will start from Barrier 4 of nine runners, with Bella Montagna at $5 with Rachael King.

“She has 2yo written all over her, and my goal is to have her in the Magic Millions 2YO Classic at Wyong in December, and then the Magic Millions on the Gold Coast in January,” Kristen said.
“She’s a cracking sensible filly, really well balanced and a great mover. She has a lovely hind quarter and shoulder, and moves well under saddle with a lovely length of rein.
“She has all the key points you look for in a racehorse, and with the E-Trakker on she has a lovely heart rate with good length of stride. She has already shown that she is easy to work with.”
And with Kristen having stakes-winning success with Two Blues in the Group 2 Sapphire Stakes and Oakfield Arrow, her filly is by outstanding sire Spirit of Boom, the sire of 30 stakes winners.
Bred to race, she’s from the successful family of six winners including stakes winner Simply Fly. She is from Queensland Guineas winner Express Air and the family of Caulfield Cup winner Incentivise.
And with Sydney Cup-winning trainer Kim Waugh being no stranger to success with 50 stakes wins, it’s her Churchill gelding Sovereign Silence who showed his class in an April barrier trial at Wyong.
“We liked his action and his ability to sit up on speed. He looks relaxed and has a nice rhythm and as a 2YO trial winner by Churchill we expect that he will furnish into a better 3YO prospect.”
Sired by four-time Group 1 winner Churchill, he is from the Danzero mare No Comment through the Danehill sire line, combining her sprint speed with the middle-distance influence of Churchill.
And fresh from an excellent first-up trial it’s Sara Ryan with her ‘imposing’ filly Red Affairs, who in the red and white heart silks of her breeder Toryburn Stud is eligible for the $12 million Inglis Race Series.
“Yes, she is a standout figure who covers the ground effortlessly and when galloped the first time she picked it up quickly. She’s easy to handle and has a cool head, she has a good attitude.
“A standout figure when I first saw her, she is a big imposing filly with a deep girth and a huge hind quarter, plus a great walk. And she’s from a young dam of three winners from three to race.”
Sired by the highly successful Golden Slipper winner Home Affairs, she’s from the family of Deploy and out of the winning Lonhro mare Red Hearts.
And on the track, Sara Ryan scored 50 race wins and $6.5 million in stakes when with Domeland, having Attractable win the $3 million Big Dance and Matcha Latte the $1 million Provincial-Midway Championships.
