The weather has been relatively kind to the Rosehill track over the past 24 hours which will see the course start as a Heavy 8 with an upgrade likely.
Heading into today’s Golden Slipper meeting Sydney had been hit with torrential rain although the showers mostly missed the racecourse over the past day and a half which has seen it upgrade from what was likely a Heavy 10 to now be a Heavy 8 with no rain reported on the radar throughout the day.
Track officials are hoping we will see an upgrade throughout the day to a Soft track for the big meeting with temperatures set to hit 29c on a mostly sunny day.
