Pride Of Jenni is on track for a clash with fellow star mare Treasurethe Moment in the Group 2 Feehan Stakes (1600m) at The Valley.
The Ciaron Maher-trained mare impressed in a Cranbourne 1200-metre jump-out on Monday, coasting home six lengths clear under jockey Declan Bates without being pressured.

“She needed to show that she had come on,” Maher told SEN. “And she has, she’s made nice improvement over the last month. We’d think she would be ready to kick off now.”
The $500,000 Feehan Stakes, staged on AFL Grand Final eve, is shaping as the earliest starting point for Pride Of Jenni’s spring campaign.
It also looms as a reset race for Treasurethe Moment, who has recovered from a recent bout of colic after her Memsie Stakes triumph.
Should both mares line up, the Feehan could again feature a small but elite field, recalling last year’s edition that produced Pride Of Jenni, Mr Brightside and Antino.
