Melbourne Cup winner Rekindling has been retired to stand at stud.
Rekindling who won the Melbourne Cup in 2017 will stand at stud in Europe next year.
The Melbourne Cup winner had a long lay off following his win in the Cup returning in the Australian Cup earlier this year where he failed to beat a runner home.
Rekindling was a notable absentee from Cox Plate nominations which were announced yesterday.
