The Australian Cup is one of the feature distance races in Australia held at Flemington racecourse each year over 2000m during the Melbourne Autumn Racing Carnival.

The race is at Group 1 level and boasts a total prize pool of $1,500,000 and is at WFA conditions for three year olds and older.

The main lead up race is the Peter Young Stakes.
