Future Score has been scratched from the Melbourne Cup
A horse in today’s Melbourne Cup at Flemington has been scratched on stewards orders this morning.
Stewards inspected two horses who failed their checks yesterday and have decided that the Matt Cumani trained Future Score is not fit to run in the race after presenting with lameness in his right foreleg.
Delphi was the other horse inspected by stewards but has been cleared to race.
Future Score was a $151 chance with Sportsbet before coming out of the market.
