Savanna Amour has been heavily backed at a big price to win the Schillaci Stakes
Savanna Amour was very good first up at Group l level and punters believe she is the overs when it comes to the Schillaci Stakes (1100m) at Caulfield this Saturday.
The Chris Meagher trained mare resumed in the Moir and while the brutal 1000m was not her go, she was very good late behind Viddora. $13 seemed a silly opening price and that’s been taken, with the mare now at $9.50.
Favourite for the race is the ever consistent Voodoo Lad, who was scratched from the Moir. He is at $3.90 and rock solid, heading the market over Snitty Kitty ($5-$4.60).
